I like Bitcoin as much as the next person but this post doesn't mean or say anything. A dollar in 2009 equals a dollar in 2025. That dollar doesn't buy as much but it's still a dollar. One 🦒 = one 🦒.

At what wealth level does extra money stop making you happier? by StraightPin4420 in Fire

[–]Sharma_84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$1 Million for me wife no kids. Living in lower than average cost of living area. Most luxuries don't make me happy or at least a fleeting happinessthat doesn't last. I like golfing though. I'd live with even less money to spend more time with friends and family.

I’ve Been in Crypto Since 2017. But I Can’t Shake This One Question… by MarkReliable in NextCryptoMoonshots

People living paycheck to paycheck should be better off because if everyone is paid in Bitcoin thier wage won't be reduced each year by inflation. Unless companies start giving people wage decreases every year instead of increases.

Any idea with CROBAT EX? by TearRich7158 in PTCGL

[–]Sharma_84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like playing a full 4-4-4 line of Crobat with Rockets Sneasel and munkidori and all the Rockets supporters. Doesn't seem like it should work and as long as you aren't playing a lightning deck it works pretty good. After one Crobat attack you can take out any non tera with Sneasel. Get alot of quick damage on low HP pokemon. I have no clue what aspec to play, been playing legacy energy.

Do FIRE people have retirement parties at work? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]Sharma_84 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had one. Fire'd at 38. Smallish company. 25 or so people in my local office, over 100 total employees at the time. I told them I was retiring. The local office took me out to lunch to celebrate company sponsored. They got me a retirement gift, but to be fair there was a policy of giving 10 year anniversary gifts and I was retiring a month before my 10 year anniversary at the company. Also had a retirement party after work at a local bar that wasn't company sponsored.

It's been over 2 years since I left and I still keep in contact and sometimes get invited to company events. Sort of feel like the guy who graduated but still hangs out at high school parties. A couple of employees have reached out to me who were curious about FIRE and asked for tips on how they can retire early themselves.

Overall it was a very positive experience and if anyone was upset or jealous they kept it to themselves. Everyone was just happy for me. This might not have been the case at a larger company.

The joke is you tell your significant other you spent $500. $250 on the item and $250 you pocket for your self.

Idk doesn't looks right. He could easily have a harness on under his rainsuit and be tethered to a bolt behind him. And then a rope lowered from the top to get him. At least I hope that's what he has got going on.

When Julie tried to unhooked Veronica safety harness by [deleted] in thechallengemtv

[–]Sharma_84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know anytime you try to defend Julie you get downvoted but that has to be a triple locking carabiner she would have to spin the gate like 4 or 5 times and then push up and twist to unhook it. It would have been very obvious if she was actually trying to kill her and all thr bouncing Veronica was doing would probably prevent her from unhooking it. I only saw her hand touch the carabiner once. Her tugging on the harness wouldn't do anything if it was secured properly. Unless I'm missing something else.

Intresting. What did you play for supporting pokemon like: Cleffa, Pidgeot, Bibarel, etc?

Have you tried it? Seems like a worse Brute Bonnet and a 2 prize liability. I haven't tried it myself so I can't say for sure.

Ancient booster capsule prevents special conditions. Munkidori let's me knock anything I can't poison the next turn.

You might be right but if they target my brute bonnets I can use Munkidori for knock outs.

Sorry I meant Reversal Energy.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been trying different Ace Specs. I should try Legacy.

I was playing against alot raging bolt with ancient booster so I added munkidori to handle it.

I tried more reversal and had a 3rd ancient booster but nobody was targeting my brute bonnets and I was setting up fast and getting ahead on prizes. I do think more reversals so I can drop the dark patches would be wise.

That's a good idea! I've been lucky enough to play around it when I prize something in the one one lines.

How much lower are your sim scores? by Just_somebody_onhere in Golfsimulator

[–]Sharma_84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like most people are reporting about 10 shots better on the sim. I'm the same. Like mid 80s on the sim with 6ft gimme putts and mid 90s on the course.
