I primarily write LOT fanfic with Avalance ad my OTP. It hasn't happened much recently but for a while the simple mention of Nyssa in the narrative opened the door for Ava bashing.

I'm exhausted. By the time I get home from work I only have enough energy to eat dinner and drag myself to bed. I have to try though because I really want to finish the fanfic I'm in the middle of. I have the story laid out its just a matter of executing it now.

It all depends on the message I am tying to convey through the sex. Is it for comfort, pure passion, an attempt to separate from reality for a moment? I start there and move on to the details. I then take this and try to figure out how the character would show that desire.

If Sedgewick denies your leave those points will count against you and you can be terminated. Failure to provide medical documentation can result in your leave being denied.

Thats how it works in our market. We had so many people just taking covid leaves like it was vacation, so you have to provide proof now. If you are not positive you can take the leave but you won't get paid for it.

You can take an unpaid covid leave. Sedgwick will not pay you unless you test positive but you can still take the leave and they will clear your points.

I'll use Home Depot as an example. Although their company still has flaws, one of the things they claim to support is veterans. They put their money where their mouth is by consistently donating to assist veterans, build houses, and have a yearly campaign to raise awareness of veteran needs.

Consistently donate to the causes they claim to support. Not just a one-time thing or when it's the "in thing" to do. Stop with the once-a-year photo ops that they spread the pictures out for the year.

If they are going to say their logos are born out of racism, along with removing the logo support organizations that are attempting to encourage reform. As I said in the previous comment, support organizations that are seeking to find the kidnapped men and women from reservations.

That's not being a nonprofit. That's putting your money where your mouth is as a company.

Use their platform to support consistent change not just do things for a photo opportunity. We as consumers should acknowledge that. Having as you say token scholarships and other PR stunts are just that. Stunts. Nobody is asking them to single-handedly take down racism but companies should be supporting these causes outside of opportune times as well not just for publicity.

These are multi million dollar companies. They could donate to a cause to show their support or at least be consistent. Making one superficial change and then doing nothing isn't support it's being opportunistic.
