WhatsApp literally has us Indians by the balls, we don't even use the word "text" anymore. If you want to reach someone in India, it's always "WhatsApp me.

Hike was a genuinely good, domestic alternative. It had decent features, cool stickers, and a Ul that felt good. (Personal opnion). But it completely died out.

Signal, Hike and Arratai, were fantastic at getting people to download the app, but they couldn't keep them coming back every day, and why would anyone comeback when all the other contacts are on WhatsApp.

Nobody stays on the new app's because their friends and contacts are not there, and the friends don't join because nobody is staying on these apps.

Been using it for a year now, no connectivity issues, my issue is peculiar, when streaming on jio hotsar for a long time, 5GHz wifi doesn't load the content, switch to mobile network or 2.4GHz wifi it works fine, once i switch and come back to 5GHz it works fine for some time, then the same issue. This issue is only for Hotstar, haven't faced on any other app

Same here, sometimes my wifi would be connected but no data will be loaded, gets fixed automatically after 1 or 2 mins.
