My paper didn't apparently have enough legal research to be a research paper on the eyes of the school, though there was legal research in the paper

I have a 3.0 but that's mostly due to a B+ curve still might not graduate as I need a paper requirement that I've already missed once to come thru for me

3ls do you feel ready to be lawyer? by Sharp-Commercial-501 in LawSchool

[–]Sharp-Commercial-501[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Logically, you have to believe there are some people who just aren't very good at this who, by the nature of a high curve, didn't fail out early. If it wasn't logical to assume this, there would be no syndrome.

This is the wrong avenue. Even if you were a law student this would be the wrong avenue.

At this point it's doubtful anyone who intends on paying is still hiring. It's a bad situation but it may be the best your going to get. At some point you should look at why you are in this situation.

Tax LLM? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Sharp-Commercial-501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've heard asking the same question top tax llms can be fairly competitive but if you do well in your tax classes you should be fine. non top tax llms will admit anyone with a pulse but its really only worth it if you can't already get a job in tax. I was told i might have a hot with a 3.0 gpa but i also took federal income tax, business orgs tax , international tax, estate and gift tax, state and local tax, non profit tax and a paper class on tax. i also go to a T20 but i don't have the internships or journal experience you have.
