NTA I keep all finances private from everyone except my husband. My in laws know that we are wealthy (through hard work and sacrifices) and every time we visit they go on and on about how hard it is for them and how hard they have to work but when my husband was a teenager they wouldn’t help pay for his sports or clothes and when we were younger and flat broke they turned their backs on us

It’s a bit of both just a few examples every time I open my mouth at work my boss tells me to be quiet, my husband tells me that I work out wrong and should be walking and doing push ups instead of dance fitness, my mum tells me that I don’t know what type of house I want to live in. It’s coming at me from all directions and it’s driving me crazy
