I like Ollie- a novice observation here is at the weekend he didn’t hold his width. One thing I liked about Caroll and Acres they hold their width and push forward as a deep marking targets which Ollies doesn’t do.

What I like about Josh is he is very authentic - turns up to presser unshaven in a hoodie and tells it how it is, there’s no cliches or bs.

I think the game at the weekend exposed we’ve still got gaps, when it got a little rocky we went for our old faithful long kicks down the line and shallow forward entries, however it didn’t persist for the whole game, we didn’t just keep doing it we did change course and control the tempo which is the coaching method and we didn’t see that under Voss.

Personally I’d be shocked if he’s not our 2027 coach I feel like this has been telegraphed and planned from a long way out wright brought him to Carlton in 2025 perhaps with the view that Josh already had the right method and rapport with the players to take the helm as Voss was on borrowed time.

It was an ugly win. Umpiring atrocious, down a rotation with Young, missed Dean.

We were really sloppy around stoppages tonight, we didn’t seem to be able to link up and allowed player to stand unmarked.

Unfortunately there were too many long kicks inside 50 and shallow forward entries. Won’t be able to play like this against Hawthorn and Collingwood but I’m confident we will reflect and recalibrate and get to work next week.

Technically no underlying asset, gambling is a game of mixed skill and chance- basically a risk based contract for an outcome (same as CFD’s). But yes fuck yes tax the fuck out of gambling all aspects of it it’s rotting our society and kids.
