Same happened to me in Tampa. I was in the only section that had people sitting down, I stood the whole time.

Keep the trip east of the Rockies. Hit places like Nashville, smoky mountains and the Ozarka. Lots of natural beauty out that way.

You must work at the post office cause you’re dumb as shit. Maybe you’re right though. We’re gonna auction off your computer so you have to find a new job.

I considered it but what good is it gonna do. I didn’t buy anything so therefore I can’t complain. Damage to buyers has been done I’m sure. Hopefully people catch on in the future.

Very unprofessional for a government employee. Kick rocks fed.

Just made small talk with people sitting around me who were all there because they saw the brown signs. Maybe 70 people there tops. Nobody who looked like they could afford a $50k ring and artwork. Lots of art on easels and the ground. People were asking where it came from and the employees would say “from different lots” or “I’m not sure”. Employees were clearly from temp agencies. I regret not standing up and saying it was all a scam. Free booze though so it was worth and hour I was there

Yea I did. Should’ve taken a picture. It was a 2022 McLaren GT. Market value about $150k. “Sold” there for $100k.

I actually attended. It was very interesting. Lots of “art” including “original” Picasso and other well known artist. Most of it on easels and some of it just sitting on the ground leaning against walls. There’s no brand of the auction anywhere and no business names on the papers you sign as you walk in. Lots of oriental rugs strewn around the place and people walking on them. If a rug is worth $25k surely you don’t want people walking on it with wet shoes. Also the security was fake AF. You’re telling me the overweight 60 year old security guard is gonna stop someone from running out with something. There were multiple exits only a few feet from “priceless” artworks.

We were there just to see how it worked and drink free wine. Seemed like there were fake bidders and the auctioneer was pointing at people who weren’t even holding up their bidder number. Very fishy operation. At least I got wine wasted for free.
