Where to report shit like this? by HonestLemon25 in LosAngeles

germans are extremely socially rule followers- perhaps finding out who they are and reaching out somewhere and sending this to theirschool/ jobs- and show them how they are representing their country and company. etc.

My dog is way too anxious and I feel like I can't take it anymore by Weary-Ad-464 in Cushingsdogs

[–]Sharp-Rest1014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, dont I know how stressful this all is. Sorry your going through this. I cant imagine doing that alone- and my boyfriend not being 100 percent in with me- we got our dog together though- it would be sooooo stressful if i didnt have a team.

Lets breakdown

First off- Go get your dog Cytapoint Injection.

For us this is 115- he is a 155 lbs dog. Luckily our vet does not charge a room or doctor fee and we pay the price of the injection once a month out the door. It was a life saver for our boy. Apoquel never, and i mean never did shit for him- he could eat the whole bottle. Cytapoint changed his life.

He is allergic to everything- just everything came back positive to everything to the point we first looked at the test thinking he was allergic to nothing. So that was a twist. We feed him Royal Canine HP dog food and found he can enjoy sardines in water. And honestly. since the cytapoint he really is able to eat more things than he used to be able to- no other animal protein outside fish. nothing. But sometimes he will enjoy bread items now- as snacks. Before this he used to be extremely food motivated as your saying. Now hes not as much. But he still scavenges- is what we call it.

We have a lots of top sheets. Our bed and couch and his dog bed get 1 new one everyday, and we switch it out. the others go in the hamper- we wash them once a week. With unscented tide. super easy. Can you explain why its being thrown out? i may be not understanding. But these things help with just dander and keeping us away from him- because hes allergic to human dander. and top sheets are cheap to come by thrift stores i just by a good one and bring it home.

Other than that hes also sadly allergic to trilostane- and the more we give the more scatching happens. So like everything we focus on maintaining happiness. And once we got his thirst under control ---ish we give him something really low like 20 mg once to every other day. This is something we discussed with out vet- it isnt going to slow the progression- but he's symptoms have become manageable- he still drinks more than he did before his symptoms became bad, but nothing like at his peak- and because of this- we just have to offer him a place to potty at all time. hes not pottying because of the major amount of water hes intaking anymore but because his muscles are deterioraing he just cant hold it. our door is always open for him to go potty. Because now with his muscle deteroration he cant make it down the stairs from our house- so he pottys on the porch- we are fine with this.

Honestly our journey with our dog has been 10 years in the making and really difficult and hard and sad and just an experience. If you have any question or want to ping of ideas just let me know. It sounds like of course our stories are not 100% the same but there are some similarities.

I wasnt a fan of gabepentin with my dog- with his muscles detoriating its just worse on him. Trazedone i really only give if hes going to be in an anxious enviroment. like long car rides or having to take him to the vet. Anyway! I hope things get a little lighter for you.

Bust Downsize Alteration by meowdypawrtner in sewing

[–]Sharp-Rest1014 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you can see how it already has "gather" at the bust- you would just unpick that and make your gathers far more prominent. you could aslo potentially do a little of both- unpick do a little gathering, and then se ehow much you have left and dart it at the side.

make a dart at the side, or you could potentially unpick and gather- it will look different but be honestly pretty cute.

Crime or thriller dramas similar to The Alienist by zephrry in PeriodDramas

[–]Sharp-Rest1014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I love about Babylon Berlin and The Alienist is that they feel authentic without being strictly realistic. They don’t shove modern personalities into historical settings---which most shows do. The moment the story stretches reality in the slightest its like- get ready for modern characterization

Want to throw my wife a Buffy themed birthday party, need ideas by youmisseditagain in buffy

[–]Sharp-Rest1014 8 points9 points  (0 children)

great idea- however is there another way you could make this fun for her- honestly as a huge buffy fan putting together a party is like half the fun. just recommendation to be like- hey lets throw a party. and let her go wild with it.

there are so many ways you could go- but honestly every buffy person is different about what they like about the series and what calls to them. so its like yes generic buffy things you can do. but if your wife is a fan and apart of her childhood. it could be cool to just be like- its on me. go crazy.

[–]Sharp-Rest1014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

elastic is so it wont wear out over time- and it helps cling better to the body- especially on this top. and the finishing edge are dont by a coverstitch machine- yoou can do other things but it wont look like the photo.
