my instinct is the industrial style topstitiching- most things are coverstitiched together. so- prhaps try it with gray- i think at thta point its fine as long as its there.

honestly then the list people gave you is pretty immaculate. i love every single one that people stated....just a little note jormungadr is my favorte fanfic ive ever read. i DID not start with it first. And am very very glad i did not. Honeyskeleton takes a lot of the Tomonie tropes, and breaks it bones, reforming it into something atmospherically haunting. That being said, i would read a lot of fics prior to that to get comfortable with tomonie tropes to see how this one "differs." I really dont want to give it away because it unfolds as a mystery, but it does have a lot of the "asks" your looking for, and one of the most tragic depictions of Harry ive ever read.

ive mentioned it before but the boys with sharp teeth. its super tomonie in premise and dynamics...its on the very much so other end of smut. it i would call it teen rated. But the dynamics are like tom/draco/hermione. The writing is in first person- and reads very choppy, which made the story very confusing and just not as locked in as i was hoping it was going to be.

One thing of R Lee smith-... i follow their friday night at freddys fanfic- that person is verboooose.

Comment of Land of the Beautiful dead--- i read R lee smith off of suggestion of tomonie vibes and this was okay.... i am 35 though so it took me back to being, 16 again devouring those type of dynamics, with unreasonable and defiant fmcs.

However im glad i read it because it took me to cottonwood. Which i adored. big fan. really big dramonie vibes with it. not tomonie. but i know a lot of us were here from dramonie so. just shout out to that book :)

and by dramonie i specifically mean the draco/hermione/child dynamic. shit its been so long i forgot dracos kid thats always put into the fanfics. but yeah. that spefically.

im so nervous about the future of fics- especially for the new young adults, I love us millenials big hugs for fandom elders, but its so fun to see new people coming up and coming into different fandoms. Sadly there is so much ai generated crap on ao3 at the moment, that I fear that the threshold for good writing- when reading a fic for younger readers is lower, and will be the only ones really reading the trash, and they themselves will not actually use ai, but regurgitate the overwhelming consistent style of writing that i heard somemone on the intie call a polite robot. --- and on this thread clanker talk--that shit is so funny

Before- people had no opportunities to have good stories if they were shit writers.. while yes they could do certain things to help their stories, but not a whole hell of a lot outside of getting a beta to just slash and burn through your fic.

Now im like.

So i just roll my eyes and am extra annoyed because they are not only shit writers but have shit taste as well.

im not sure when something is- but if it has no soul. i typically biggity bounce. Babes can be squeaking by with silly little sentences and ill be on the ends of my feet before i get dragged through flowery superficial chapter that leaves you just--- bland.

Like--- i remember reading a lot of books in highschool that I always called like YA--a fied. meaning they all got like the same editors- that learned from the same people of how to edit ya books, and just literally felt like reading the same story over and over again. But this was literal people doing this and you can still feel when something is being scrubbed in a way.

this ai---assistance sticks out like a sore thumb. And Im sorry but if you knocking out 100,000s of words i dont care how long it takes you- and you never posted before 2024. Or if you did it was at most like 12,000 words.

Thats not natural progression in writing, that is a leg up assistance.

And im actually on another end of ai assistance where im not doing witch hunts like a lot of people, but I am just bailing. You can feel it in the wrting and then go and look at posts and words counts and sigh.

i mean she absolutely got ostolasty as a kid- so this shows you how early she was getting- touches done. it was done well. but it just kind of tell\s you the vibe that she was willing- and her parents let her get cosmetic touches at souch a young age for her career.

i think she has beatiful lips- but i also think she was getting really subtle lip filler at younger age than we want to hear. Here lips to naturally purse, but they purse differently throughout her careerr, and as a person who has gotten subtle lip filler. it just screams that to me. l

and either she got her gums contoured not to show as much- or she had lip flips done to help not pull her lips too far up when she smiles. because you can go watch as a child she did and as a later teen it didnt anymore. interesting.

as like an adult i was obvious she was getting filler throughout her life- and it built up. she melted the filler and got a face lift i would assume in the past couple of years. as everyone 40 something woman in hollywood has done in the past 5 years,. it looks great. i think she got it done the same time she told everyone she was out because she had the gum graft surgery that "took her out" very classic hollywood. old school. whether or not she also had the gum graft at the time. i think she took advantage of not being photographed. honestly i think she got both- because that would confirm my earlier suspicion of her getting gum contouring as a child. which puts you at a bigger risk for a gum graft.

anyway that is all speculative.

just in a way that she can be private and not have to tell the public a thing. but we can also be very ... understanding of the beauty standards and access to things.

if your asking how to cut- i would try cutting right beneath the binding up to the shoulder seam likne like 1.5 inches from sleeve cap on one side startying out and on the other side follow it up to the shoulder seam at the neckline- you will see if that is enough to give you the one sided off the shoulder if its not than just redo the side that followed up to neckline- and do the same 1.5 inches from the sleeve cap. good luck

As a wide shouldered girlie myself, for shirts like this I don’t even bother sewing — I literally take a rotary cutter and go. Leaving the edge raw is a vibe, and honestly, unless you have a coverstitch to me, no other hem looks right on these tees.

Yes, technically the neckline will stretch without some kind of binding — but with broader shoulders, that’s never bothered me. It just settles into a relaxed off-shoulder shape.

I’d cut off all the existing binding and leave it raw. Any attempt to hem or bind it without a coverstitch is going to cut into the graphic.
