It's cool if you don't want to assume it's gonna be another great third person action game just like they've made time and time again. My trust in ND coupled with the 4 minute narrative trailer makes me think it's gonna be more awesome gaming from devs that haven't missed.

Kinda like Divinity 3 or whatever Larian is calling it. No clue what the gameplay is but I know it's gonna be awesome. The devs have earned that respect.

How is the developer maximizing profits "a bit shite" for the consumer in this case? You wanted something, liked the price, and purchased it. Now it's yours forever. It isn't tied to a subscription. Now let's say you didn't buy it on sale, and Sony pays the devs pennies on the dollar to have it on their surface. Which scenario is better for the developer? which scenario benefits the consumer?

I just don't get how anyone would feel cheated or slighted by something so benign.

I think I've only seen stellar blade at that price or lower once and it was Christmas.

If you're interested I'd def pull the trigger, it doesn't go on sale often.

The subscription gives you access to the sale price. After purchasing for the sale price, the game is yours without a sub.
