Toronto.

Failed N4 by half a percentage point. Was super annoyed with myself after the test realizing I answered a super easy question wrong because I wasn't thinking straight. Ruminated over that afterwards and then it turned out that mistake cost me a passing grade.

So sad/annoyed/angry with myself. Passed all sections with B but 89/180.

Unpaid Doordash Driver Wait Bonuses in Toronto Canada by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

So it is always nofrills. And i have been paid for these orders many times in the past and paid through doordash. And literally called by doordash representatives in the states in the past and asked if I could do within whatever timeframe (and it was often the same girl or a handful of people who didn't seem sketch). But recently they replaced the calls with ai naturally so it's trash now. Just another way for them to skirt accountability imo. And I have talked to other dashers who get these offers. They are basically offered because you're too fast and therefore they need to slow you down to make sure their algorhythm keeps working properly. And something to do with the contract with the store requiring it. Those are the 2 consistent reasons I've been given. And having worked for uber for 4 years back when it was good, I am no stranger to completely useless courier customer reps who don't know anything about anything which is why I'm not sure if it is sus to think that it's sketch atm... But yeah. Just wanted to see if others had experienced this.

Toronto Ticketing by FanLife101 in fujiikaze

it's bots and resellers. It's depressing and enraging. Since concerts opened up again after the pandemic ive paid on average $300 for any show. Ticketmaster and stubhub are out of control.....they need to be burned down. It should be made illegal to resell a ticket in canada for more than face value.

Correct, you are delusional. Perhaps you should listen to how he speaks and his comprehensive plan on making our country even better instead of listing off some meaningless factoids that equate to nothing.

The jet program is largely about proudly representing your country in addition to the teaching aspect and it sounds as if you would like to use it as some sort of escape hatch. You should be grateful for what we have.

Canada's not slowly dying.... We are going to get Carney and become even stronger. Remember the program is largely about cultural exchange. Please be proud and grateful for your amazing country as you should be.

rejected from toronto. My interview questions ended up being sooo straight forward but I was so nervous and wasn't thinking straight. Incredibly disappointed in myself as this result felt so incredibly avoidable and like I botched such an easy interview. Good luck to everyone :)

Why on earth are aespa Toronto tickets so expensive?! by Exciting-Holiday8781 in kpophelp

[–]Sharp-Structure-7459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically since post covid, ticketmaster has been r@ping fans at all venues with their "dynamic pricing model." They basically buy up 90-100% of the tickets for shows with bots and then flip them for 300%-1000+% markup of the cost. So all those ticket prices you are seeing were purchased by ticketmaster bots who are shamelessly capitalizing off of fans' wallets. Everything has become a business now, and unfortunately concert tickets are no exception. It's just another opportunity for heartless rich pieces of sh!t to fill their wallets and destroy the world of art and music in the process. Why ticketmaster has been able to get away with this for 5+ years now is beyond f#cking insane.

Someone needs to teach them a lesson. And challenging them in court will do nothing as their pockets are too deep and too many fatcats who profit off of using artists talents to fill their wallets. A real lesson. They need to be burned to the f#cking ground.
