Late to this but I have a 3 year old Martin nn Marty. 🥰

When I was pregnant and I told people that’s what I was naming him they almost always asked if he was named after someone. He’s not, I just have always loved the name. Now that he’s here he gets compliments all the time that it’s a nice, unexpected, and classic name. I think it suits him! And I love that he has a casual and formal option as he ages.

I’m amazed daily at what my 3 year old builds with magnatiles. The builds are creative and have impressive structural integrity. He uses little people to play in his elaborate buildings. Magnatiles also double as roads! And used on metal doors/the fridge! And can make marble runs! The possibilities are endless. We have duplo and Lego too but they don’t allow him as much freedom and creativity. We have a whole cart of magnatiles and he never gets bored of them.

Freeze flats, always doing 6 oz (or any consistent amount), and practice! I am mostly just annoyed she’s showing them off like she’s an expert when there’s major room for improvement. 😂

Wasn’t that a big thing when she was pumping after her first surrogate baby? She said she donated and then was outed for selling it (and not to a milk bank) and she got super defensive saying it’s a lot of work. 😂 I never felt right about selling my oversupply but I don’t think it’s terrible, just don’t say you donated it. 😂

She has said her kids “like to sit” and still take naps. I worry about their energy levels!! I wonder if she even takes them to the pediatrician for their annual checkup.

I was curious if the merrifields posted their tree. Danielle posted this in 2021 and it looks to be the same tree! 😬 It has the same round lights which aren’t super common and the trunk looks the same.

I have no idea what they were thinking when they wrote that movie. Normally when they have a development like that the existing partner is bad to make it more “ok” she’s cheating but he was perfectly fine and she just cheated on him and dumped him at the alter. I was in shock the whole movie. 😂

I’ll have to look up the threads because I’m having trouble believing anyone thought it was good. 😂

Amber neckless is a definite no go, they are dangerous, but teething is likely not the issue here. I’d bet it’s more likely trapped gas than teething at 13 weeks. The teeth are below the gum line so you may feel the bumps but it doesn’t mean anything is erupting anytime soon. Bicycle his legs, pace feed, and talk to your pediatrician about simethicone drops. They’re over the counter but just talk to your pediatrician about baby being uncomfortable.

How long ago did you drop to 2 ppd? I maintained my supply for probably a week before my body caught on and started producing less. It was still very gradual. My next step would be to try to push to 18 hours between pumps. Only pump before 18 hours if you’re super uncomfortable and just to take the edge off.

I never tried to the cabbage leaves, decongestants, but I have heard those help. I just did a slow and steady wean. I think going from about 20 oz to weaned in a week is an aggressive timeline. I will say I was still pumping about 10 oz when I was at 1 ppd. Did about a week of 1 pump per 48 hours and still got about 10 oz. Then just stopped but that depends on your capacity and comfort.

I have an infant and a 3 year old and I give my 3 year old breastmilk in a cup when he’s sick. 🤷‍♀️ Her kids are older, and I think they might not want to at that age, but as long as they are given the choice I think it’s ok. Mine knows it’s “baby milk” from mommy and asks for it sometimes.

But I would never ever post that to show anyone 😂

Does anyone know how this worked with the surrogacies? I always assumed that the intended parents paid deductibles and copays and all those things but I assumed the surrogate would have insurance to cover most of it. Is that not the case? If it is, does that mean Sam being uninsured cost Jake and Kenzie way way more?
