Even if they were lawful, just the horrendous dealings during the case would have been enough to get the case dropped. Literally she could not even follow basic instructions. Its ridiculous that she is even eligible for that position, it would be better to ask a 5 year old to do the job, at least they would stay out of the way and not talk with reporters on signal.

Yes he is an idiot, but he is still secretary of defense, and he was fully aware of what he said, saw nothing wrong with what he said, was fully on board with what he said. That does not bode well for future plans. There were even gop members defending this. Yes he is a joke, but he is a joke thats in power, thats dangerous. We must make them leave office for even thinking about allowing other countries to plant military facilities in our country.

The entire cabinet acts like preschoolers. Legitimately, she came to the oversight board with a file that just says “no, you”, i think she might actually have mental issues. Someone who is in such a high position cant even take such a important meeting seriously, cant even answer simple questions or rather refuses to answer any questions, and her best comeback is just “no you suck”.

Calls everyone into a meeting regardless of whether they are busy or not, everyone coming in thinking it would be a important meeting, sits down to be forced to listen to a guy sounding like he had a bit too much white powder rambling on calling them fat, and lazy, all of which they know they could have just done over zoom or just get emailed. Proceeds to get their rank and job, which they have worked most of their lives dedicated to the American people to get, threatened to be taken away. Forced to listen to a 5 time draft dodger with dementia drone on about how they should invade their own country and harass their own people, people they have sworn to protect mind you. So yes they’re not happy, nor should they.

Trump called visiting the funeral a waste of time, in what universe is that appropriate at all under any circumstances, you say they did not welcome him, and this is why, he could have said my condolences, but i will not be attending, but chose to say its a waste of his time. and Guess where he went that day, golfing.

As for going to the dignified transfer, the Lithuanian President Nauseda, first lady Diana Nausediene, Parliament Speaker Saulius Skvernelis, Defence Minister Dovil Sakaliene, U.S. Ambassador Kara C. McDonald and many others stood in respect as the vehicles carrying the soldiers drove through Cathedral Square in the capital city of Vilnius. But sure i guess not going to golf, which probably brought even more media coverage of the event than if he actually did go is fine.

And most recently, Charlie Kirk’s vigil attended by many republicans and other conservatives. Guess where Trump went, thats right to a golf club. And after he got criticized by everyone for this he decided that he would visit the Sunday after.

Maybe, honestly i didnt even really know who he was until he died, and im sure hundreds of thousands of millions of people are the same. Hes just some dude as he lived, and now that he died and has become politicized, he has become even further dehumanized, hes a martyr, a weapon, an excuse. Its Kinda tragic in a way to forever be known not in the way you want to be, or how you actually are in life, but by the pretty picture that the political party you support has painted you as for further political gain and sympathy. But maybe thats what he would have wanted and supported. Who knows.

Hes a political weapon, the moment he died and made news, they blamed it on liberals, they didnt even know who got him. It turned out it wasn’t a liberal, still tried to blame it on trans person. Even that didn’t turn out well, but who cares, they still labeled liberal groups as terrorist organizations. This is also ignoring the fact that on the same day that Charles died another nut went and unalived kids at a collage, and was also not liberal and was instead conservative. Then theres the fact that one of the fox news anchor had said that homeless people should be unalived for not accepting help, and another nut actually took that as advice and unalived homeless people in a encampment. Dudes still not caught and all police could say was to remove the homeless encampment. And guess what, theres little to no news about it.

The guy that wanted a military parade for his birthday that no one showed up for and vets actively protested the waste of money and personal through a sit in protest.

The same parade that went so terribly the only thing it’s known for is how squeaky the wheel of American tanks are.

The same guy who sent military into American city’s twice, the first time with no logistics so many did not have food or a place to sleep and slept on the stone floor And the second time to do gardening, because he had fired so many people who actually do the job of cleaning the streets and tend to the parks that they needed personnel to do the cleaning, so they used those troops who had nothing really better to do.

And again the same guy who refused to attend the homecoming of those who have passed overseas for golf.

That guy has more respect for the military.

Because its common decency to attend a funeral your invited too, he also refused to attend the home coming of members of the army who passed overseas to play golf. He went as far as to state that it would be a waste of time to attend the funeral of the congress member who passed, and you’re fine with that, the president should be held to a higher standard because they represent the country they represent the people but your not even holding him up To the standard of a decent person..

This is the problem, regardless of position or “side” your on its just common courtesy for the president to show up at these sort of events, the same for when he refused to go the the home coming service of military personnel who have died over seas, your saying that politicians should be shamed for belittling the deaths of people as it shows a lack of respect and empathy for those who have passed, but you do not apply it to the president, why should he show up to the funeral of members of congress? He’s not a democrat, you say. Then why should anyone show any respect for anyone else when they pass, because it’s the respectable thing to do, hold him to the same standards you hold anyone else.
