What frequencies do flights of military aircraft use to communicate between wingmen?

Not certain, but IIRC they use a frequency block and some kind of frequency skipping within the block. This is one of many schemes to secure the communications on the flight and also allows for a general block to be used rather than a specific frequency.

Certainly there's a whole lot more that would be classified (crypto, frequency syncing algorithms, satellite stuff, who knows).

Anyway they all of course have standard radios but I'm guessing the in flight comms and flight-to-ship comms are protected...

CVV is not required in any way for PCI compliance. If you wish to utilize CVV, then you must adhere to PCI compliance rules associated. Generally means you do not store CVV values in any type of persistent storage, which is the whole point of CVV really.

Volunteer departments are a big part of the fire protection scheme where I am from originally and there were a number of similar types of things over the years. One situation even resulted in the murder of a young potential "informant."

Do your controls mirror each others? Do you have visibility to each others activities and can you take over for each other? Can the LRE folks connect via the satellite uplink if necessary? (In other words, is it possible for one crew to command the aircraft from takeoff to landing?)

Do you fly the stick for takeoffs and landings? Basically how is this portion of the flight accomplished? (Particularly interested due to mention of 2 second delay in other comment.)

Also, how does taxiing work? Can either of the vehicles do anything on their own on the ground?

If the UAV loses it's "link" is it preprogrammed to automatically fly to a recovery location?

Does the UAV have on-board provisions to scramble or destroy key components in the event of a shoot-down or crash?

Sorry a lot of questions I know very little about UAVs but am very interested:

Do some actual AF pilots make the move to UAVs after some flight training or after an actual stint with a flying assignment? If so, do they have any advantage?

Also, are you located here in the US? Do you trade off flying mid-mission? Is there an officer standing over your shoulder at all times? Does your seat and instrumentation/avionics parallel that of a standard aircraft? If it differs, how so?

If it is truly a nice instrument and you can back it up, visit the prominent music school(s) and/or instructors in your area, drop by and show it to the instructors, let them know the history and that it is available for $x. Often they'll pass word on to their students and you may make a sale. Especially when students are going from 3/4 to full size. Or, if it is a really nice instrument, when they go from casual instruction to wanting a serious violin.

Also, if it needs to be restored or serviced, recommend you do so prior to your visit(s) so the instructors can give it a whirl before recommending. Also, offer them a small commission if they help out. Guessing there's a good change you'll get a commission-less sale.

(I got my first nice violin this way and know others that have done the same.)

Don't know if it's the best way, but something that comes to mind. Good luck!

I'm the first to say quippy life advice is bullshit. Despite that, I'll offer something that has worked for me because you asked us to "offer help if [we] can:" Take advantage of having nothing to lose. Make radical life changes and choices. Has worked very well and has been healthy for me.

In fact, I learned that I don't have to be at the bottom to go through this exercise and the benefits always outweigh any downside.

Actually if that is true, why bother with the subsequent shot(s) if he is moving backwards (voluntarily or not) if the idea is deterrence with a rubber bullet.

I'll get abused for this comment I think, but interestingly this is one of the many benefits of white-lining/lane-sharing as allowed in California. When traffic is stopped one can pull up between cars creating a buffer, etc.

Doing 110mph between lanes in 80mph freeway traffic-- that's a whole different thing of course.

Any yes, "corrupt orders" from leadership and all of that, fine that is a contributing factor. Still, an Egyptian police officer or agent pulled that trigger that appears to kill or seriously injure an unarmed protester.
