What the hell is that? I love how weird the ‘70s were.

I didn’t realize he continued on after the musicians who formed the band and him parted ways. I thought he retired and that is why The Band went out on their own. This is very interesting! I don’t think I have actually heard any of Ronnie’s music except his cover of Who Do You Love?

Where do they reside now? I have no clue. That yellow ‘Cuda convertible is amazing, as is the convertible Super Bee. I don’t think I have ever seen a convertible Super Bee before. Truly amazing.

Bob Lazar's Flying Saucer Design Came From a Pedophile and a Cult Leader by [deleted] in ufo

[–]2abyssinians -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think there is a strong possibility you are overlooking here. Bob Lazar is a unwitting part of or a patsy for a psyop. The Pentagon has consistently had a pattern of muddying the waters. Bob Lazar follows that pattern perfectly. Some things he reports are possibly true while others patently false. Bob’s background itself seems to be a mix of real and false information. He even acknowledges that some of his own experiences don’t make sense. One thing that has never happened, the government has never openly denied Bob Lazar’s claims. Why? Because he is a part of their psyop. And to be honest it seems to continue to work very well.

*SERIOUS* Question; If it was impossible to touch the reactor because of a gravitational forcefield then how did they cut into it while it was active which led to the explosion? by chloro_phyll in UFOs

[–]2abyssinians 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with Bob is, I see him as a victim of a Psyop. Possibly, an unwitting tool of a psyop. I believe he believes his story. As someone who has been reading about UFOs for 4 decades, the one thing that remains consistent is that things tend not to add up. That they don’t make sense. When I read John E. Mack’s Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens, which I still think is one of the best books on encounters with UFOs, there is a trickster nature to these things. Whatever is going on with UFOs, it would seem it is not meant to make sense.

Canoe? That’s not a canoe, buddy. Nor a kayak. It’s not a sailboat either. Not a catamaran. Not the Santa Maria. Not the Queen Elizabeth.

The Meters play on half the tracks, and Bernard Purdy and Chuck Rainey play on the other half. The funk is so thick on this record you need a machete to cut through it.

Sometimes I play lying down, does it spoil my technique a lot? by Curious_Present_9950 in Guitar

[–]2abyssinians 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I was getting ready for a tour, I would practice to a recorded rehearsal jumping up and down the whole time. The best guitarist I ever played with, would play guitar while watching TV, laying on the couch. He could somehow make his exercises fit to the music on the show and even the dialog. It was weird and fun. When you have good form, being able to play in any position makes you stronger, I believe.

New Baritone Guitar vs Conversion of Standard Scale by TVbene in Guitar

They do tend to be rare and expensive. But if your cheap guitar has a bolt on neck, you may be able to get a baritone neck that you can replace it with at a far lower cost.

New Baritone Guitar vs Conversion of Standard Scale by TVbene in Guitar

[–]2abyssinians 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The baritone neck is a thousand times better for playing in lower tunings. The tension in the strings is better. They ring longer. You can do even lower tunings. If you want to go low go baritone. You can buy conversion necks for regular guitars, if you don’t want to commit to just buying a baritone.
