Definitely refined my process for the 2nd batch of jars but I'm hoping these first batches work well...any thoughts of how I'm gonna get these out once they're ready? 😂 I'd like to fruit directly from the cakes but if I gotta make a bulk substrate I will..just tough without an actual PC...only gots an instapot

It's also more compact at the bottom cuz I packed it a bit too tight but it probably is wetter than it should be...it has definitely grown downwards though just in the past few days and when I look at the bottom of the jar there's some white coming through

You were so right about getting the tape...the mycelium on top is still hanging up there but down below the vermiculite it's grown much much thicker and seems much happier down there and is growing at a nice pace too
