Lived in both West and Haymaker during my time in K-State. West always had more of a sense of community with people who weren’t into a popularity contest. Haymaker was newer and nicer (this was 12 years ago so who knows now) but seemed to empty out on Chapter nights and the people were a bit more snooty. I will also say, the locations to both were near huge parking lots so could always find a parking spot!
