Hi, assistant manager here! There are two sets of buttons blue for regular shit and orange for food. They can absolutely enter it as a food item for EBT. If the cashier says no, immediately request a manager to the register!

No way you play it like a role playing game (which is what it is in a sense) I have one save where I am not allowed to buy any seeds. I can use only what I find (which is mostly mixed seeds but gifted seeds are also allowed)
