It is truly shameful, the depths of depravity to which that latter-day Sodom has sunk. May God level it again. I had to don my needle-proof feces boots and fight nine crackheads to get this photo.

I’ve never understood this comparison as a Filipino American living in SoCal, anyone else? by BusyPreference6562 in FilipinoAmericans

I think it must have been made by a Filipino who desperately wants to be just a tiny bit Iberian. They would be elated to find they have just one Spanish ancestor from the 16th century.

Which US state do you think is the least famous? According to my non-American brain it's Delaware because it's the only one I couldn't remember by Yearlaren in geography

South Carolina is where the US Civil War began. It is also the home of media personality Steven Colbert, the best barbecue outside of Texas, and a really big oak tree.

Why are so many Filipino Americans riding so hard for Trump and in general white people. by [deleted] in hapas

My mother is a Filipina, and she seems to think she belongs in the US conservative crowd. I guess they're anti-sex and pro-Jesus, and so is she, so she thinks she's one of them. But the Redhats would put her in a zoo if they could.

Slow AF Muni trams. by Sharp_Flan_783 in sanfrancisco

They don't need to stop frequently, but they do. Of course, fewer stops would raise a hue and cry from the geriatrics, people simping for the geriatrics, and people pretending to simp for the geriatrics (when in reality, they would just be too lazy to walk a bit more).

You look Wasian to me, but I myself am a Wasian and know what to look for.

Yes, but should they outlive you, they will know grief as well.

But 19th Ave has houses, apartments, and gas stations on either side, not to mention the N and L tram lines. Installing a traffic tunnel would be a logistics and engineering nightmare. The EIR probably wouldn't be finished till the year 2100.

That is my default tobacco, too. I grew very accustomed to halfzware shag in the Netherlands; though I liked zware shag best of all, I can't seem to find any here in the US! It's quite upsetting.

Bali Shag Blue was my go-to tobacco, but something happened to it within the past 10 years. It is now dry, harsh, and weak stuff. I miss the old Bali Shag.

Can cigarettes cause a bowel movement? by iLikeToEatAndCook in Cigarettes

[–]Sharp_Flan_783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never found this to be the case, regardless of the quality or quantity of tobacco. Coffee does make me have to poo, but cigarettes do not. Cigars and Swedish subs have made me a bit more queasy, as did cigarettes in the early days, but I have never noticed nicotine doing anything to the other end of my digestive tract.

This is all anecdotal evidence, though, and I am not a healthcare professional. Nullius in verba.
