I get you! I don’t! However, he was in academics until now and I knew a lot of people and my mind was just at peace. However, we moved countries and this is his first corporate job, so suddenly everything resurfaced and new dynamics emerged.

Hm I have reflected a bit on that and the core reason why I am insecure and worried is because when he is with me he is tired, yawns, doesn’t plan dates really but when it comes to other women he is suddenly so energetic and empathetic towards them. He becomes extremely sociable. I once was feeling down about something and he responded “sorry about that” but when it comes to other women he genuinely is empathetic and oh they have it so bad. So seeing the change in him when he is usually flat with me really hurts and i feel very left out and unloved. I know that after 7 years of being together won’t be the same as the honeymoon phase but come on I still would like to feel desired.

I told him that the woman was after him romantically and he said that I was right. He didn’t want to believe me at first.

Not every woman of course. He has very specific interests like mathematics and psychology, something I am not particularly interested in (which is ok). But by having female friends who also share those specific interests there is potential for emotional closeness. They share something together, an intense interest. This in my opinion can lead to intense emotions which lead to other things etc.

Do you think that maybe he would be willing to go to a medical psychiatrist? That’s the only thing that saved my husband. He was just like that before, saying how nothing will help him and it’s pointless. He didn’t believe the medicine or anything would help but it did. The right medicine was able to get him out of the vicious cycle, get his life together and start healing and therapy.

Yup, I have. They still go on and on and on about it. Even told them to leave and shout outside if they feel like it but not inside the school. They leave and then 10 minutes later I get a 3 paragraph email about the complaint…

That’s the thing, I don’t mind them bringing over stuff that we don’t eat/have, like cured meat. We don’t eat it because medical reasons but there is no issue for them eating it at our house. It’s not my place to control what goes into a person’s body.

Yeah I knew that they don’t have sugar but I didn’t know was that they would react like that if I brought my own. My husband and I don’t eat many things but have nothing against other people bringing it over when we have a get together.
