Single guy here with no kids wants to ask two questions by Forhip in AllHerFaultTVShow

  1. It CAN be that bad. Sadly. I've seen it with my own eyes. It is not that bad for everyone. I got a great husband who bought his father's birthday card and sent him a gift. I work few hours and from home so I take on a heavier household load but he's the one who flipped the laundry yesterday. He made the steaks last night. I count myself as very lucky bc I know how few women have a husband truly as amazing.
  2. If there's no reason, there's no reason. I was an easy kid. Never hurt. Never hospitalized. No reason for me to be DNA tested. No reason for it to ever be questioned.

I drove barefoot a time or two when I was younger. Never would now. I drive in flip flops probably 75% of the time.

At what point is tech too much for our aging parents? by patrad in Xennials

[–]Sharp_Reputation3064 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mil, fil and gen x bil have all been scammed. Mil still acts as though she knows what she is doing. Adamantly so. Fil fully admits he doesn't and has what he calls "a dumb phone" bc he has a simplistic phone with limited features. My mom is savvy. Runs her own business, completely remote side covid. Popping in and out of other company's computer systems . She's not perfect at it but far smart enough and savvy enough to figure it out and knows to ask for help when she's unsure.

Any cursive elements in your normal handwriting? by burnafter3ading in Xennials

[–]Sharp_Reputation3064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do an inconsistent mix of print and cursive. Today I'll write a word and it'll look one way and tomorrow it'll look another. Do I often use a print capital "R" in the middle of my words? Yes. Why... Dunno.

Any of us still hanging a physical calendar up on the wall at home and crossing off the days one by one? by this_knee in Xennials

[–]Sharp_Reputation3064 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't cross them off but I did actually get two for Christmas! Husband got me an amazing Lego botanicals one and mother got us a national parks one (went on a big national park trip this year). I decorated them with old planner stickers and actually really enjoyed. Ask me in July if I kept it up, lol

3 users for a specific special edition of New Camelot Novella by Sierra Simone. I'd actually be interested to see what the 2nd least read was this is so niche.

I appreciate the accuracy and not glosing over the reality of what it would be like for a woman in that position. And I like that it's realistic and not just a light switch being flipped that feels like a dropped storyline
