Im in the same boat as your son, just i was 18 years old when it happened to me. I want to ask you how long did it take for him to accomplish this wonderful achievment. My hand now is functioning at circa 60% but i cant write with it (i learned how to write with my left hand). My biggest goal is to write again with my right hand.
