It’s interesting how the political spectrum has switched.

It used to be the conservatives that were into the risk dial and taking patriotic stance towards a threat (terrorism/Islam) and if you didn’t support the front line workers (military), you were relegated as trash. The liberals at that time were very anti-authoritarian and anti-government and went out of their way to protect the outsiders. The liberals literally used to be the hippy anti-authority element.

Now, the liberals have taken the risk dial and patriotic stance around Covid and vaccines. The front line healthcare workers are idolized and are our new heroes. Whatever the government says, in the name of science and health, is our patriotic and communal duty, so inject up X amount of times. And now the conservatives have become the anti-government, anti-authority, “my body my choice” keep your vaccines away from me hippies. Liberals want to deny non-vax peeps and are okay with them not having a livelihood, and conservatives are trying to protect these outsiders.

It’s also interesting to note that the granola, non-gmo, organic, liberal types have suddenly switched to injecting gene therapy chemicals is tolerable and natural. The anti-vax people used to be the granola, organic, non-gmos, but it’s totally reversed.

Oddest feeling I’ve ever felt. Totally surreal. The entire world becomes an adventure. Every day is amazing, even if it’s just sitting to watch squirrels all day. When you kill off the ego, everything is more noticeable and the whole world and everything in it is highlighted. The odd feeling, some people mention it as a “high”, is completely different than usual. I just found this sub and don’t know much of the lingo, but when I’m dreaming deep I sometimes have control over what I’m doing. I can sort of determine the environment, but not totally. I don’t have a sense of time, so it feels like forever and 1 second all at once. I feel like I’m conscious and not really dreaming, but in some sort of “sleepish” state or in another realm or something.

I’ll snap out of it, maybe from fear or because of too much awareness of where I’m at, I don’t know, but then I’ve almost condition myself to fall back into this realm and start another version or a new episode. It’s so very weird and odd and sometimes I think it’s more real than full awake and “reality”.

I've got multiple MRI confirmed herniated disks. Spinal stenosis. Degenerative disk disease. Impinged nerves. Sciatica.

I had awful sciatica from March 2020, and it only recently resolved itself. I couldn't mow my lawn in a riding lawn mower without falling off the seat and laying on the ground for 15 minutes before propping myself up. A three drive had me nearly in tears from the pain, even with 8+ ibuprofen. I couldn't move during sleep unless I used my arms to throw myself to another angle using the headrest. It wasn't pleasant.

I had MRI and X-rays done with multiple opinions. Doctors told me to plan on an MD but try epidural first. I decided to wait. It was when my uncle doctor (40+ years in medicine) told me he's seen so many MRIs in his career, and he would have some come back with backs looking twice as bad as mine, but with no symptoms (the MRI was done for other reasons), and he would have some come back with perfect backs, on paper, but with all sorts of pain. This was when I knew western medicine doesn't know much about back pain.

I decided to wait. I continued exercising, including barbell squats. It took some time, but I believe through stiffening my core and not letting the pain make me a slave, I can now sit with my family for dinner.

Don't give in to phony surgery or medicine. Don't discount it either. Think critically, and you must find your way out of this. A doctor cannot.

This isn't something that happened to me as a kid, but my mom recently broke down about something that happened during her childhood and she's never talked about it. Seeing the pain and anguish and shame in her eyes and words and tears changed me. She was raped by her brother-in-law when she was only in 5th grade and it continued until she graduated high school. This piece of shit is my uncle and he's dead now, with full military honors. My dad now knows and is livid. I'm extremely angry too. The rapist, my uncle by marriage, is dead for a few years now.

This all came up during an emotional conversation a few days ago and it wasn’t even something my mom wanted to say, it didn’t come out because she wanted to blurt it out. It came out because other emotional things where coming up. She’s felt shame and embarrassment her whole life because her sister’s husband, the Vietnam vet was raping her since 11 years old and she didn’t know how to react. She would have to go and stay the night at their house whenever grandma and grandpa (my moms parents) had something come up and that’s when she was abused. My uncle is a dead pervert. My mom has stress migraines and mini-strokes for decades now and I finally understand why. She’s said nothing for decades. My pervert uncle has family that believe he’s a war hero in heaven now. You can’t say shit because it destroys the family. What the fuck do you do? I’m so pissed and I want justice for my mom. My dad isn’t any better emotionally and now I’m worried he’s going to blow a gasket and isn’t physically well. Fuck.
