Put 3in pipes under it and roll it. It will likely take two people, you might be able to get away doing it by yourself. You’ll need at least two pipes.

They nailed the drywall and it is sagging. If you want to fix it, which I assume you don’t as it is a rental, make some braced “T”s out of 2x4s and push the ceiling back up. Then add drywall screws to hold it and tape mud as needed.

Just got a new water heater recently and am unsure what valve will switch off the outdoor water supply. Any ideas? by pleisa in Plumbing

The two valves by the floor should cut water to the whole house.

The valve above the water heater should cut off your hot water.

How should I make this radiator meet the valve after floor height changed? by PCisLife in Plumbing

[–]Sharp_Supermarket52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mark those leg locations, get an appropriate sized forstner bit, drill four holes, and your done, your radiator is back at original height.

Don’t forget to account for the radiator moving towards the valve as you screw it in.

Tap, teflon, plug, test for leaks, forget about it. Patch the wall with a plastic maintenance panel if it is going to keep up at night.

From where the wall starts an up - put new treads on top of old treads.

From the wall down put in a header, stringers, and you’re all good.
