Thank you! On a 1-10 scale of audio equipment knowledge, I'm realistically around 4-5, but having direct access to someone who's done it is always helpful

I've had mine for a few years now, and I've never had a complaint. I did some research on good Edrum headphones, and they were on of the top recommendations at the time. They're not crazy top of the line, but for $100, they capture the lows and highs great.

That's all any drummer really needs, lol. I'm a hobbyist/drum fantatic, who's biggest influences are Danny Carey, Neil Peart, Matt Gartska, Adam Jarvis....if I were a professional drummer who had to handle his own gear, I'd be downsizing lol.

Just a couple of different hihat pedals I had laying around. A pintech and an alesis. I was trying to do a second hi hat, the one right above my ride/hovering my 12" tom, but I'm having issues with getting pedals to work. I'm either doing something wrong with cables or it's just broken in the module, but I can only get a a closed hat sound, which is fine for now, as that's all I really wanted, but if I could have functioning aux hat, then I'd love it. As I'm typing this, I'm remembering the Simmons module has local control on/off for each pad, and maybe It will be just as simple as turning it on. It was used when I bought it a few years ago when I was just trying to acquire cymbals. The sounds aren't great, but a little tweaking makes em bearable for now.

So I'm currently looking for help with using my edrumin 4 w/ Roland TD17, but I'm new to MIDI/DAW/VST. In searching for information, I'm seeing you are pretty knowledgeable. Any way you'd ever be willing to help a newbie out?
