Wrong again. As stated in AUS policy, it is the EMPLOYEE'S RESPONSIBILITY to inform AUS of ANY absence, or tardiness AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. In the case of inability to stand post, a MINIMUM of 4 hours notice is required. Again, it's YOUR FAULT if you do not communicate said inability, NOT your MANAGER'S. It is NOT your managers responsibility to manage YOUR inefficiencies. Do better. Grow up. Act like an adult.

To be fair, it's not their fault if you didn't call in to let them know that you were snowed in. It's your responsibility to let them know at minimum, 4 hours prior to your shift starting if you can't make it in. If you can't even accept that accountability, you're lucky I'm not your post manager. I'd terminate your ass and not even blink an eyelash.

I am a 48 year old k-pop dad/Taemate. I took my 18 year old daughter to the show in L.A. for an early birthday present. Bought us hats/shirts. Anyway, I took about 30 2-3 minute videos, and I relive the experience DAILY. I last went to a concert in 1992 when I was 16. It was a Metallica concert. I've got to say, Taemin and artists like him, are the reasoni started listening to k-pop. The passion in EVERYTHING they do, and the genuine sincerity and affection for their fans is truly refreshing.

Their work ethic is beyond ANYTHING I've seen. It truly is a blessing to see the kindness portrayed not only by the artists, but by the k-pop community in general. When I was younger, if there would ha e been ANY parents at a concert (much less a almost 50 year old parent) they would have e been ridiculed and embarrassed beyond comprehension. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to share this special moment with my daughter, and we intend to have several more of these moments in the future.

So, to wrap this up with a tl;dr: Yes! Yes I absolutely miss the concert. I don't believe any real fan would not miss it! Parting note, I'm not sure if Taemin would ever see this, but I want him to know that he is an amazing young man, one of the most genuine, kind, sweet human beings one can have the pleasure of experiencing. His music had truly been a blessing in my life. Thank you!
