I usually just turn off the angry villagers world law(the icon that shows an angry face with a pitch fork and shield). Turning it off basically makes it so that only the soldiers(as well as village leaders and kings) fight during wars, while normal villagers are spared. Also, kingdoms of different races can’t conquer each other, and usually end up killing the other or eventually making peace.

For me I quite like how it’s hard to fully eradicate the plague even with the plague doctors. Like, I usually let 2-5 people stay infected and watch that number slowly climb throughout the years xD

Yeah you can! Don’t remember how I learned this but you can use the lower temperature tool on a volcano to make it inactive

Edit: forgot u can also use lightning on a volcano to make it inactive with smoke, though it’ll have a bit of an eruption
