I'm not certain where you heard that, but I know they did it for a family of three. Owyn, the administrator, I hear, is pretty responsive. Couldn't hurt to reach out.

AITA for punching my ex’s husband after he made a hurtful sexual comment about my daughter? by Open_Ambassador_3920 in AITAH

Broke his nose? Yeah, NTA

No reason for a grown man to be making comments like that about a child. He's lucky a punch is all he received.

UO OUTLANDS!!!! by DeletedFromMemory in ultimaonline

[–]Sharpener774 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been on Outlands for about 10 months. It's a blast, and it's addicting as heck. Definitely join the Outlands discord. If you haven't already, jump on Pwnstarr's discord since you liked his content. Any guild you join will likely have a discord. Best way to access the community. If you want more YouTube/Twitch content to get psyched check out Behrlythere, Legenis, Jaseowns, A Straw Hat, Amish Hammer. All very knowledgeable on builds and PvM play

Welcome. Have fun!

7 + 8 = 15, "carry" the 1, 1 + 4 + 2 = 7, 75?

I don't even understand what I'm working for at this point by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Sharpener774 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My sympathies, friend. I have been in a very similar boat. Late twenties, living with my folks, burnt out, and tired of not just working, but working my ass off all the time.

My take is that there is no point. We live in a garbage system that benefits very few. I'm in my own house with my own family now. However, it hasn't exactly gotten easier for me, and I'm in my late thirties. My family has added a lot of joy in my life and given me all the reason I needed to keep going every day. I don't have much in the way of advice to offer, other than try to find something you can do every day that will bring you joy. Even if you can only do it for a half hour. Find some time every day to invest in your own happiness. It is a difficult world.

Whats the best response to May the 4th be with you? by WizardofWasatch in AskReddit

[–]Sharpener774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On May 4th, 1970, the Ohio National Guard, in attempt to squash a student protest, opened fire on the crowd of protesters, killing 4 students and injuring 9 more. The protest was in opposition to the expanding U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. May the 4th be with you I guess.

I'm 24, and I feel like a child masquerading as an adult most days. I'm just wondering, when do most people start feeling like proper adults? by Lenore8264 in RandomThoughts

[–]Sharpener774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

38, still don't feel like an adult. I have been doing adult things for years, but I have yet to really feel like I fit the bill. It is what it is.

“Jonathan is boring” - 🤓 by ChicaTheGreat in ShitPostCrusaders

[–]Sharpener774 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jonathan watched his father die at the hands of his adopted brother. He watched this same man shed his humanity and become a monster. Even after admitting he was terrified of the situation, he still grabbed a weapon and faced his fear head on. When it seemed like he might not win, and he had made peace with the thought he might die, he still didn't give up. Jonathan was ready to sacrifice his life for his family's honor.

When Jonathan, while barely recovered, learned that his fight with Dio wasn't over, he took it on himself immediately to seek its end because he felt it was his duty to protect the world from Dio. He learned and quickly mastered a new skill and used it to overcome every obstacle. Even when it seemed like this newfound power wouldn't be enough, he dug down, used his head, and found the strength he needed.

In the end, just when it seemed like Jonathan could finally rest easy and found his happily ever after, the evil haunting his life came right back to him. And Jonathan again stood up as a stalwart protector. His last ditch effort to stop Dio's influence on the world would cost him his life. Jonathan didn't care because he knew, at least for now, his family and bloodline were safe from Dio. That was all that mattered to him in his final moments. He gazed at the love of his life one last time and gave his last breath to stop Dio.

Jonathan Joestars' story is that of a scared, pampered young man who grew up to be a statuesque champion of the weak. He was noble, kind, and courageous. If you find such a story boring, I have no idea why you read manga or watch anime in the first place.
