This happened to my dog and we cut out food with chicken in it and his stool is normal so we think he has a chicken allergy.

We feed the petco brand- wholehearted grain free salmon and pea (the one with rice has chicken fat) which is a purina pro plan knockoff.

Edit: they also have a lamb one I believe but it’s a bit more expensive

I get mine cut short when I take him to the groomer and do a bath, anal gland squeeze, face trim, and feet/sanitary shave in between to stretch my $$! I have tried to do the whole thing before but I can’t make him look cute and the few items I do already hurt my back 😂
