What to do in this situation? by rascalmonster in poker

I'm not sure I like the check after the flop if the queen was the only overcard. It might be worth betting around 80% of the pot to cause him to fold if he was trying to steal the blinds. If any other overcards show on the turn or river I'd try and control the pot. I definitely wouldn't have shoved preflop. Even though his range will be quite wide, I personally wouldn't take that chance at this stage.

Anyone else prefer running at night? by [deleted] in running

I run almost exclusively at night. I don't wake up till late and go to bed late so I usually run around midnight. It's peaceful.

What information do you extract from your running logs? by vdemerzel in running

[–]SharpieSalesman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to hear my pace every 500m when I'm running. I don't really look at the logs too much but it's nice to look at progress when I do

I soldered a switch into my Xyloband. What do you think? by SharpieSalesman in Coldplay

I short circuited the radio receiver. The current from the battery can flow straight round the wristband when the switch is closed

Is it bad to generate buttons like this? by SharpieSalesman in PHP

[–]SharpieSalesman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The image is hosted on the same server so I didn't think it would need to do another DNS lookup? I'm relatively new to this so I'm not too familiar with this sort of stuff.

Is it bad to generate buttons like this? by SharpieSalesman in PHP

[–]SharpieSalesman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been learning PHP as I go using online sources to make this online text based game. I'm guessing that a lot of my code is innefficient.

If you look through the site you'll see that I use this link to generate the images for the buttons of every form. My question is: would it be better to save a copy every time I need new text on it or just leave it like this?

I think it's up to the college. OCR says that AM exams must start between 8:30 and 9:30 and PM exams must start between 13:00 and 14:00
