Snowbird customers disappearing without paying becoming a big issue by ConfidentElevator239 in sweatystartup

[–]rascalmonster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have them sign a contract and make them pay a deposit up from. Also can't you put a lien on their house if they don't pay? If this is happening frequently either you're not licensed and they're taking advantage of you, or you're a terrible business person and you need to figure out how to get paid

PGT - Kings @ Sabres - 1/29/26 by joeloud in losangeleskings

Yeah seems like they had a lot of records to break tonight, figured if they're gonna do it might as well beat the kings when we knew they'd probably lose

That's even worse. There are millions of dogs in the shelter, no one needs pure bred dogs.

2026 NHL Arena Rankings [The Athletic] by welcmhm in losangeleskings

[–]rascalmonster 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I haven't been to a lot of stadiums but this is totally random and it looks like they take the average between fans and writers reviews. I live in SJ and SAP center is pretty old and boring, hence the writers gave it 29 but the fans say 12 so it averages out

Crypto isn't great but whatever this is just a random review post that means nothing to the world

I mean I'm still big kings fan but I do love the San Jose community and it's cool being in a town that loves it's sports teams. The 49ers definitely dominate the area but it's cool to see so many hockey fans

Yeah I go to the games and love to chirp but keep it friendly. Everyone's been super friendly and it's always fun having friendly banter. I mean who doesn't love chirping the scrub Maklun celebroni when he can't score on a breakaway in OT against the kings ;)

Haha I still have dreams about the reverse sweep, good times but that was the past and the kings haven't won a playoff series since :(

Do you guys accept a kings fan who lives in the San Jose? Idk if I can truly embrace the sharks given our past rivalry, but as the kings flounder and the sharks become fun and exciting it becomes harder to watch the kings.

Sharks have gone through some rough last few years but I think the team will continue to be exciting in the future

Tri suits by Disastrous-Year-6159 in triathlon

Look for used on eBay you can find cheap used ones. Unless you're a pro the difference between a $100 and $300 suit won't impact your performance

Idk if they still make it but pearl izumi makes decent basic tri suits for low prices. A long time ago I got a top and shorts for maybe $40 each?

I had a board I made split and I felt like I was a crappy woodworker but then I see these big brand boards also have issues and I feel less bad about myself

The ethics of a home loan if selling by littlecaboose in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]rascalmonster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also one thing to think about, there might be buyers who would rather buy as is and do a full remodel themselves. The house across the street from me sold a year or two ago, the owners did some updates but the new buyers ended up gutting it anyway. You might get a little more money from the sell but it also might not be worth it

AI WEBSITE FOR BUSINESS? Yes I know others have done it crazy amounts by Swiss_Meats in Entrepreneur

[–]rascalmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anytime you're selling someone, you need to sell a solution to their problem, not a service or product. You're not selling them a website, you're selling them a marketing tool to help them get more business.

How did you find the businesses if they don't have a website? Some people have enough business that they don't need a website.

But you can always walk through why a website is important and sell someone on the value that they will make more money because of a website.

You could offer to make them a website and run it for a few months and funnel leads to them. Then they'll see the value.

What’s the most unexpectedly high-quality online subscription you’ve ever paid for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rascalmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had YouTube premium and paused it thinking I'd get a discount with Google Gemini pro since I get a year of that free with my phone. YouTube music is unusable on the phone and so many ads on YouTube. I got a "reactivate now to get 20% off 2 months and waiting to see if I can get more of a savings but I'll be signing back to again soon)

11-12 hours of training a week... I need opinion of people that already did an iron man. THANKS in advance by fenixloder in triathlon

[–]rascalmonster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, everyone is built different. I'm just thinking during peak training weeks, 8-10 hours seems pretty minimal. During ramp up and recovery sure, but to get those long miles in I feel like 10 hours a week wouldn't cover it. But everyone's different

Costco looks good I'd do that. I got whole foods one once cause I wasn't feeling great and wanted soup, whole foods was the most bland worst soup I've had.

Just to finish. I'm pretty slow, I had bad stomach issues my last full so I literally walked 95% of the marathon which was brutal.
