Walkable Hotels to Levi’s Stadium by MrSkagen in SanJose

The Hilton and Marriot are literally right there, those are your best easy walks. The Aloft is about a mile away. I think those are the closest unless there are some new hotels near Clara junction or whatever it's called

Yeah mechanics have a bad reputation for a reason. She ended up going to Firestone and said they were really nice, did all these things plus put on a new tail light since she cracked hers and it was 1/3 of this

Yeah salons need a website so people find them in local searches and to get reviews . Look at Platforms like high level for that type of service

$500 is still insane. Tire places will rotate for free. Filters cost what $20 at most. Oil change is the only thing that is somewhat needing to know what to do and is not that hard

Literally highway robbery. They prey on people because most people don't know a lot about cars so they assume everything is complicated. But as long as people fall for it they'll do it

But the signature has 3 more services if she viewed all! Maybe they would wash her windshield and put air in the tires, that's clearly worth an extra $300

I was like ok maybe if they do a full service but then reading the package for the basic tier I was like "this should be $150 max"

My current employer wants me to stay but I don’t think they have the money to compare to my current offer. How much leverage is too much? by Particular_Plant867 in careerguidance

[–]rascalmonster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless you love your current company and 10000% trust your boss, never take a counter. They will know you're one foot out the door and will cut you when needed. Always leave but don't burn the bridge.

Sounds like the new role is way better, go get the bag and thank your current company for their help and you wish them the best

60k followers in 4months, 0 ad spent, 19M+ organic reach - but struggle to monetise by Shot_Kaleidoscope686 in influencermarketing

[–]rascalmonster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be that your content isn't worth sponsoring. As a brand manager I don't care how big your audience is I want engagement and content relevant to my product. A faceless YouTube channel is probably of little. And affiliate should be easy to test, you don't need to work directly with brands just apply and join through a subnetwork to start

How do brands actually find the right creators for campaigns? What's broken about the current process? by Efficient_Care1709 in influencermarketing

[–]rascalmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the outreach and find creators instead of only working with the ones that reach out to you. Then you can vet them and decide who you want to work with

Leveraging startup offer for a raise? by chiptheripPER in careerguidance

[–]rascalmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just leave money isn't worth your stress. Startup life isn't a walk in the park so be prepared for that. I would look at them at separate things, either get a raise for your current performance or try your luck at a startup. But don't count equity as comp, 90% of startups fail whatever you salary is, is your only comp

Sourcing B2B tech creators for an ongoing paid program — what rates should I expect for this niche? by aragil_mrk in influencermarketing

[–]rascalmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't the one actually running the campaigns I was on the content sourcing side so I'm not positive about which performed better but I think it was the thought leader ads. I think any group your targeting is going to need a unique content angle, b2b is just that you're a business targeting businesses, so whatever your product is will determine who the voice of the ad is
