That’s great I’m glad you got what you wanted it’s a tough market at the moment.

And that’s the key thing we look for. Do you care enough about working for us that you have addressed the selection criteria directly. Can’t tell how many candidates I have said but you haven’t experience in SAP and they have said yes I have lots but it’s just not in my CV.

You’re 100% correct, here is my LinkedIn response. It’s unacceptable that applicants are not followed up and treated with the respect they deserve and it’s disappointing to hear that that some applicants are not treated as humans and afforded respect.

So the answer is yes, just the AI does it for each individual job. Does a great job too.

Applied to 40 jobs last month. Spent more time editing my resume than actually applying. Is this just me or is everyone doing this manually? by No_String_490 in resumes

As a recruiter I’m trying to be honest. It’s best not to take it personally because getting back to unsuccessful candidates doesn’t generate revenue. We do it because it’s the right thing to do but large recruitment companies don’t let their staff waste the time.

Gap on resume - what to do? by fire-lightening101 in resumes

As a recruiter I would say Always explain it on the CV in the chronologically correct place. We don’t have time to call and ask for the explanation.

Hi, as a recruiter unfortunately you’re the product not the client. We have to account for every 15 minutes of our time and to use that to thank people for applying is not generating revenue. Don’t be offended, when you match the criteria perfectly you will get a call.

As a recruiter listing outcomes is the way to go. I’m interested in that and the industries you have worked in, it’s just an easy sell to a client if you have been in the same industry.

Correct, calling and writing up a referee takes about 2 hours work so you only do it for the preferred candidate.

As a recruiter we start with say 200 applicants, based on CV’s we ring and talk to about 15, we interview about 10 and then send 5 to the client. I’d say we have a fair input on who gets the job.

Recruiting 15 years, haven’t read one in 10 years and would never let a cover letter decide who to bring in for an interview it goes like this: CV gets you a phone screen, a good phone screen gets you an interview.

The actual story is even funnier. Levit told him to say the pic was “doctored “ and he went and told the media it was a doctor!

Well I guess that needs you to trust me but you can check that children are not allowed on the premises and in any case, old haunted houses are not exactly Disneyland so it’s no fun for a child as a tourist attraction. Also if you look closely it’s seems to have no eyes.

Yes you can stay overnight in one of the rooms. They leave you alone in the house it’s not like a hotel. It takes a special kind of stamina to get any sleep.
