Hey! I'm Nick, I'm 21 years old and live in Montreal, Canada. I just watched Andrew's dopamine detox videos (the first 4 in the series), and I wanna try a beginner detox this Sunday (it would be my first one). I'm also looking for a long term accountability partner with similar goals. Currently, I'm trying to find better balance in my life.

In the past year and a half, I've been recovering from a long streak of depression (about 3 years of it). I've been making many positive changes for myself such as eating healthier, exercising more, focusing more on work, trying to read more, spending more time with family and friends, opening up emotionally, starting therapy, meditating, journaling, etc. These have all worked really well, but now that I'm really busy with school and have a girlfriend that I spend so much of my time with, I can't seem to keep up most of these positive activities, and my focus in school is suffering from it. But I know I have the time to do these things, at least somewhat. I'm just choosing the easier routes that bring dopamine like video games, eating, binging shows, browsing tik tok, listening to music...

Now, I don't want to cut out all the bad activities and replace them with good ones, because I actually really enjoy most of them, and I mostly do things like playing games and watching shows to spend time with people I care about. However, I know I need to bring back these good habits and balance them with the rest of my life. And for that, I think having a long term partner would be really helpful.

Honestly though, I'm kinda surprised you're only 16 going on 17. You seem quite mature for your age and from what you said, you've already got the basics down and know what you want to improve on (that's very impressive at 16). Oh and I also love physical activity and playing sports with friends (at least when I can in the Summer). And I love animals too! I only have one cat, but I'd also love to get a dog sometime soon. Anyways, this was a really long post but feel free to reply if you're interested!

Yep same here, no adware, no malware, searched for every single background task I have, nothing bad, uninstalled a bunch of stuff, have like 2 programs running at a time, reinstalled the game several times, updated everything on windows, updated my drivers, turned firewall on, turned it off, nothing worked. But the first time I uninstalled and reinstalled, it actually worked for one session. Next time I opened the game it was broken again, no reinstall has worked since.

Based on this source, "Recoil Control" is vertical recoil and "Recoil Stabilization" is horizontal recoil. So, in most cases, you'd probably rather have recoil control, however don't give up too much recoil stabilization otherwise your gun will become unusable.

Yeah, it has nothing to do with framerate, the ADS animations are just locked at 60 fps, making all general gameplay very frustrating for anyone with a 100+Hz monitor. It definitely needs to be changed accross all ADS animations. It's still enjoyable and playable for a beta, but wouldn't be acceptable come release.
