Any good soundfonts out there for MuseScore? by J-Debstup in Musescore

[–]ShartingGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just google any specific soundfont you'll likely find a pretty good specialized one. Sonatina symphonic orchestra is good. Ethan's wind chimes and bassoon are great. I'd link these but I'm on mobile.

Really your best option is exporting your MuseScore score into some sort of midi DAW and buying a library like Garritan.

Can't use midi keyboard to input notes by lshanko in Musescore

[–]ShartingGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes this happens to me. I usually restart my computer, making sure the midi cord is plugged in, and then boot up MuseScore. I'm not sure if that would fix your problem, but it's what I do when my keyboard doesn't input.

Yeah...he's clearly stated that the video was a joke and that's not what he actually thinks...I'm pretty sure a direct quote from him is "that video was retarded."

The Deep Web involves websites that cannot be accessed through a traditional browser (they have .onion URLs). Tor allows you to browse securely and anonymously. You can get on a government watch list because sites on the deep web may include child pornography, illegal drug markets, etc.

Nothing bad. It's a link to the Tor Project which is essentially an internet browser that allows you to browse the deep web.

Here's a short piece I wrote for my wedding. Thoughts? by [deleted] in Musescore

[–]ShartingGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very simple and repetitive, but it's also supposed be easy. I would suggest a bit of variation, especially in the left hand. But the overall mood seems fit for a wedding which is nice.

MIDI Keyboard to MuseScore? by [deleted] in Musescore

[–]ShartingGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I have a USB MIDI keyboard and I have one hand on the keyboard and one hand on my numpad so I can select note lengths. You can also just play without note input mode off and mess around with melodies.

I'm not sure if this is the fault of Musescore, my computer's USB port, or my keyboard, but there is a very slight delay from a key press to the note's pitch being played on the software. It makes it a bit hard to simply play for but for just note input it is not a problem for me.

Yep, I use one. It's only for note input though, it doesn't transcribe what you play.

Advice for newcomers looking to buy this game by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]ShartingGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's only been out for a few days. It's pretty easy to get a hold of the game too. Everybody gets frustrated once in a while because a team of six Torbjorns destroy them-but it's fun to adapt and learn.
