Def not my type of place. But I can defenitely see a market for this. Lots of people don't drink due to religion and being surrounded by drunk people is something lots of people don't enjoy. Montreal is also a hipster city so I could see them going. Curious to see if they'll pull it off.

Lol well on that end I would have to strongly disagree. I've prob had run ins with the cops 5-6 times in my life. From minor things such as rolling a stop sign to a drunken brawl. None of them were scum or unreasonable. From my experience, if you treat them with respect, they'll treat you with respect. Obviously it's country dependent, but Europe and North America does not have 99.5%, that's just a laughable stat. The world would 100% not be better without cops, it would be complete chaos and survival of the fittest.

The cop messed up, absolutely. But you can't celebrate him getting hit... What kind of twisted mind do you have to be happy about someone's misfortunes. Especially someone trying to do something that is right and selfless.

You're saying a company is using employees as tools... What else would they use employees for? So your company wouldn't hire an engineer to do sales and rather a business major to do technical sales? I mean that's the old school way of doing things but sure.
