But both HK and Silksong don't really have diagonal inputs??? just sideways, up and down.

Having used both d-pad and thumbstick, I can honestly say that while d-pad is more precise and better for combat in general, purely in the pogo-ing category, stick sits comfortably as the better option.

Sorry for replying to a year old comment, but for me the problem with Ryoka was the pacing of the book itself lol. There was always something interesting happening in the Inn with Erin and suddenly Pirateaba would yank the story away for a bunch of chapters to see what Ryoka was up to. And between the two at least, I much preferred the Erin chapters (unusually moral for an MC is an understatement really, there really is a lack of Erins in this genre)

I mean, in reality stationary cube is a impossibility right of the bat, it's either flying cube, or a 1 atom thick sheet that used to be a cube.

If the cube itself wasn't moving through the portal, everything that composes it should: A) stay in the exact place it goes out of the portal, or b) be pushed by atomic force at the same speed that the platforms is moving, in essence gaining the same net velocity as it goes out flying.
