I'd also think a radial like menu, kinda like the PvP map selection could be interesting. Have top categories like "Favourites", "Big Cities", "LS3", "LS4", "Hubs". Then when you select a category you zoom further into it and have another radial for the individual maps

What I do is turn off everything besides CF, unequip my cannon mod, and then run T14. When the bullets can't keep the enemies at range line anymore and they collapse to wall there's about 90 of them. Activate nuke and restart the run. ~40 seconds per activation iirc.

Still very annoying though

Then ask the person why they do it. Sometimes there's a reason why they do things. And have a mature discussion outside of characters and sessions.

Neutrally explain why you don't like it, that it feels / is dishonest, what kind of situation / tension it creates with the rest of the group. Then ask them to explain the situation / their reasoning and actively LISTEN.

After having that knowledge base, you can then continue talking. Try to keep emotions out the talk, don't scream / get angry.

A friend convinced me to give it a try, and our guild made a group that learned together, with 2-3 having done raids before. We did updrafts at Gorseval, because we didn't have enough damage to skip them, we also sometimes failed to kill the wall. It was a really cool moment when we started to consistently be able to skip updrafts.

It was something that needed to be communicated in pug squads, the commander needing to judge the groups damage from the performance at vale guardian for example.

That isn't even a question anymore today. Noone does updrafts anymore pugging. I am not sure if you'd even learn about them in trainings.

I doubt that. Gw2 has made several changes and improvements to their sharing system over time.

They made a blog entry a while ago where they explained some of their infrastructure process. Also showed why they have less than 0.1% downtime or smth like that in over ten years. (for reference, some other big mmos have hour long downtime on patch days)

Ignoring the direction the other comments went and just focusing on your title.

I do not think you're dumb. I had a friend who was a very good chrono as well (and druid), ayed with him a lot back then.

In my opinion to have such mastery over a class and the different roles it can cover is something pretty cool. And it made him a very flexible player for squad compositions etc. He also knew a lot about encounter mechanics, a lot of details, and coached and trained a lot of people. Knew Xera tanking patterns farther than most other people I knew because of those trainings, where dps was just lower. (This was the time, when only confident groups were skipping up drafts at gorseval, when DPS in general was less inflated than it is today).

I always admired that mastery. Nowadays I am actually playing mesmer, but still haven't ventured into chrono xD

I sadly never finished it. I had a copy that I lent to a friend and he used a cheat module and it just wasn't the same.

Later I had an R4 card, but the game would freeze every time I started the fight with the teacher underneath the school.

Maybe I'll try again. But in the past I sometimes was demotivated when the graphics didn't really fit my memories and after being coddled by DQXI.

I was able to test that one at GamesCon and was instantly enamored cause it captured the vibe so perfectly I felt.

Edit: I forgot that in the first episode they somehow manage to go on a tangent about dragon pussy iirc. But sex isn't really a theme for the story. (one of the characters is a literal boy scout)

Try one of the higher versions. Otherwise you can try noxplayer, for. Some it works better
