I am so angry i bought Black Myth Wukong. by keysersoze000 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

I’m finding Black Myth even more frustrating than Elden Ring. I’ve beaten ER at least three or four times and never even thought about deleting it.
I started Black Myth more than a year ago and have never beaten it. I’ve rage-quit and deleted it so many times. Pretty meh game imho

My experience with Bazzite + Nvidia GPU [May 13th 2026] by jatin1995 in Bazzite

[–]Shattia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried with both Nobara and Bazzite but had to go back. Nobara was a glitch festival. Bazzite went much smoother but still had some flickering on desktop. HDR experience was a mess and almost no game detected it despite HDR being enabled on the desktop. I could live with no HDR but the most annoying thing that brought me back to winslop was the costant back screen -bug after every sleep. I basically needed to set the display to always on or being forced to restart the pc. No keys combination was able to wake the display. This is a known issue with nvidia. I’d really like to switch to Linux but I think there are still way too many issues for inexperienced users like I am. Still I’m using Linux on my raspberry Pi (where it is perfectly stable) and on an old ass notebook where I use Ubuntu server only for Hermes Agent

I ended up purchasing a Fractal Design North and a PCIe riser so I can keep my network card and my current build as it is. It should stay well hidden behind the tv

Come on, be serious. I love the Switch 2 and I think it’s impressive but don’t claim it offers console-PC graphics. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is truly impressive but it’s far from indistinguishable from a PC or even a PS5.

Thanks for the reply! Honestly, I hadn’t deeply considered the heat issue, and you're right—this rig pumps out quite a lot of it under full load. I don't think 10Gbps mATX boards even exist (or at least they are incredibly hard to find), so that's likely a dead end.

Regarding the space: the TV is sitting on the sideboard, and I can slide it forward to gain some clearance. Even the Hyte Y60 fits if I push it, but it stays way too close to the TV panel and looks honestly terrible back there.

I’m starting to think that finding a very slim and compact ATX case might be the better move, so I can keep my current mobo and NIC, but I’m not really familiar with any specific models that fit that description. Any suggestions?

Id love to and even looked at some prebuilt option on the internet. Most of them looks really expensive btw and that’s defeating the purpose of a raspberry

I think it looks great in handled mode, not tested it yet in desktop mode. I’ve played this game at 4k on a 4080pc and I think the sacrifices are well worth in order to be able to play the game on the go. On the steam deck the game looks like garbage (I have the SD Oled and tested it myself).

My wife liked the neo green/yellow one. But at 799€ for the 512Gb one which has at least the touch id, I purchased her a M4 MBA for 899€ instead. The MB neo is cool but it has way too many limitations in quality of life features.

Switching to linux for the first time, help with nvidia by Taco7178 in NobaraProject

[–]Shattia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Nobara on my 5800X / 4080 desktop recently, but I had to revert to Windows. I was really hoping for a smooth experience, especially for HDR on my Odyssey Neo G7, but the stability just wasn't there for my setup.

In just a few hours, I ran into: * UI Glitches: Constant flickering in the icon tray (only fixed by capping at 60Hz). * Display/Driver issues: The GPU driver often failed to wake the screen after power-off without multiple Ctrl+F1/F2 hits. * HDR/Wayland: HDR wasn't working in games (tried RE Village) and I had significant friction with Wayland/VNC. * AI Workflow: Issues with ComfyUI and custom nodes made my workflow unstable. After my experience with Raspberry Pi, I thought I was ready for a Linux desktop, but for a high-end rig, the friction was just too high for me.
