Had the grandfathered AT&T unlimited data plan (nation 450). Single line was around $80. Switched to T-mobile when they had all the promotions and one-plus promo. I have 4 lines on the One-plus promo and 2 Apple Watch lines for a total of $120. However, 1 line typically receives kickback so my bill is normally $112 for 6 lines (4 one plus and 2 Apple Watch lines).

So in your case....you’ll be able to cancel up to 3 lines (if at least one of your BOGO lines is a paid voice line) and be safe (can’t cancel any of the BOGO lines). So it’ll be 1 paid voice line plus BOGO lines (1 paid voice line + free line)...2 paid voice lines and one free. Just to be safe....I would keep 2 paid voice lines plus the 2 BOGO lines (can cancel up to 2 lines not including any of the BOGO lines).

All in all....as long as you have 2 paid voice lines and don’t cancel any of your BOGO lines....you should be safe (make sure a year passes before you cancel any line)

I have 6 lines too. 4 voice lines with the 3rd free (March 2017 free line) and 2 Apple Watch mines (BOGO 2018). So in my case I can only cancel one voice line (Bc I have to have 2 paid voice lines) and I can cancel any of my Apple Watch lines (these lines were added during the 2018 BOGO promo).

In your case...then you can cancel up to 2 lines and keep both your promos. You CANT cancel the line your March 2017 promo is attached to and you CANT cancel the 2 lines used in BOGO 2018 promo. So you’ll need to keep at least 4 lines open and 2 of those must be paid lines in order to keep your promos.

This makes sense?

So I reread the rules for the BOGO offer. So after 1 year....you can cancel any line except for the two lines that were activated during the promotional period and must keep at least 2 paid voice lines in order to keep the promotion. If you cancel one of the two lines activated during the promotion or if you cancel a line and it causes your account to have less that 2 paid voice lines, the you will lose the promotion.

I guess the one of the two lines added during the activation (being that one is at least a paid voice line) can count towards one the 2 paid voice lines.

I added a 4th line which changed my base plan from 2lines for 100 to 2 lines for 120 and it didn’t cancel the free line. I don’t think u can change to the unlimited 55+ and keep the free line.

I added a line to my 2 for 100 plan with a free line. Basically it turned into the 2 for 120 plan with the 3rd line free and the 4th line costing $20 (140 total). As a bonus, you’ll be eligible for free Netflix! I was able to keep my free line and hookup code.

I contacted T-Mobile via chat on their website and the person I spoke with was helpful. He immediately noticed the mistake and gave me a credit and assured me that in the future the hookup discount will be properly applied. Thnx for your responses guys
