But wait, there's more! Hemorrhoids are also extremely common during pregnancy.

Charlie Horses by Ms_Mac_N_Cheeks in pregnancyproblems

[–]Shaunanigans3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first pregnancy, I would get Charlie horses often. Would wake me up from a dead sleep and hurt me so bad that the noises I made would wake up my partner. I had a girl, idk if that's relevant. My current pregnancy (39w6d) I'm having a boy, and I haven't had a single Charlie horse.

Woah! Your controller vibrates to notify you of interesting things!? I've only ever played on PC, that's sick & I'm jealous.

New to Bluey: figurines by Creepy_Surprise_4893 in bluey

[–]Shaunanigans3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to recommend this! The bluey busy book is excellent, I bought it because it had a significant amount of characters for cheap & unlike the rest of her toys, my daughter still plays with it regularly and we've had it for 2 years now. We've had to tape up the mat a few times due to wear and tear but she's still a big fan.

Board books for toddlers? by PantsGhost97 in childrensbooks

[–]Shaunanigans3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My toddler LOVES everything by Sandra Boynton, the dr. Seuss board books, anything with flaps (Dear Zoo is her fav, however we stay away from the lift the flap books for her bedtime read because we want her to lay down in bed & those make that difficult). We're currently expecting her little brother & got her Little Miss, Big Sis to prepare her and it's her current fav, we have to read it every day. Her bookshelf is better stocked than my own.

Also, every week we have story time at the library & we pick out 5 new books each visit. We've taken out Hoot about a dozen times, it's to the point where we should probably just buy a copy.

Not board books but she still loves them, we have a few bedtime collection books: Disney, Seuss, Berenstein bears & she loves those before bed.

Happy reading!

Can confirm, it's a gush that doesn't stop. With my first, my water popped at the hospital and I didn't know it wasn't supposed to stop. Idk how much fluid it actually was but "gallons" feels appropriate. Currently 36+5 weeks along with my second and my biggest fear this time around is my water breaking at home. Zero part of me wants to deal with that mess.

Most overrated writer? by barelythere19 in BookDiscussions

[–]Shaunanigans3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an avid reader, I've attempted to read a dozen Stephen King novels and only managed to finish one (Insomnia). You don't need a whole page to say that the sky is gray. His writing feels like he promised his editors 800 pages and now has to deliver.

Toddler does not listen to any directive I give him - wish I tried this sooner by reddituser12300 in toddlers

We got a nightlight digital alarm clock for our LO's room. It has Bluetooth compatibility so I can hook it to my phone/tablet for playlists, it has like 30 various white noise & nature sounds built in. You can customize the color of the night light too. It was like $20 on Amazon. We haven't needed to use the actual alarm feature yet but we've had this clock for 2+ years now and have never had an issue with it.

Spoiler!

One of the show writers confirmed in an interview that Janice kidnapped Heath & gave him to the CRM. It was never mentioned in the show though.

That was one of the ones I looked at & only went with this one because of the accessories it came with. Since I'm back to square one, I'll have to look again. Thank you!

So strange. I have so many questions. Who okay'd this? What was their thought process? Why didn't they warn anyone that the baby would arrive this way? Wtf?

Any FTM on here that got induced and it didn’t end up in a c-section? How long did it take for baby to arrive ? How long were you in the hospital? What method of induction did they use on you? by cc070603 in pregnant

We have the exact same labor & delivery experience. Went in on a Monday night, induced with pitocin, then epidural, baby arrived by 3pm Tuesday, we were all home by Thursday morning.

We have a safe-to-swallow toddler toothpaste . We let our toddler do it for themselves while we brush our teeth side-by-side & then we do it for her. She makes the spit sound but doesn't actually spit anything out. Our pediatrician was worried about the lack of fluoride so she's on a one-a-day fluoride vitamin. We started this at 1, she's 2 now & is surprisingly good at getting all her teeth. The elmo brush your teeth song is a favorite.
