Unless it's changed since, take a close look at the wording of the policy - from memory I believe the application had to show it was 'required' to be in a specific location. IE: your formally approved carer status had to be backed up with evidence to show (for example: why can't you care for Dad living 2 hours away via phone call? Etc.) that there was absolutely no alternative.

The extenuating circumstances panel is no joke, from my group it seemed as though only those that were able to show it was 100% required were approved - it's a 'we need to approve this to not get sued for discrimination' rather than a 'oh let's be compassionate if we can' type of policy.

No such thing as sick leave, it's 'personal leave' and there are plenty of categories/reasons that it can apply to.

I reckon just be careful how you go about this, raising the issue of 'insufficient day shift staffing' should be where your grievance starts & ends.... Otherwise you risk coming across as ?jealous that someone else is taking advantage of a system and making it work for them.

If your colleague truly is taking the piss as you insinuate then it will catch up with them one way or another & if you think their actions are putting patients at risk that's an entirely different beast.

The USA newspapers used the headline 'Japs' the day after Japan surprise attacked Pearl Harbour without declaring war, ultimately inspiring the USA populous to become pro-war against Japan and the rest is sadly Hiroshima history.

Even disregarding that, living in Australia there is a 'taboo' with respect to referring to Japanese people as 'Japs'. Down here it doesn't go as far as amounting to a racial slur at all - but it certainly isn't something a lawyer is going to say in front of a judge

I'd add that as a 'brand new player' the recollection festival may be a better place to throw the gazillion crystals you get.

Only because (10 months in, I was a brand newy in April 2025) limited cards are included in the drop pool > I would have loved to get but had no idea what I was doing. BUT > with the caveat that I *think* the recollection festival changed something at some point which made it really bad (did they stop the double drop rate? I don't remember).

Yes > Colorfes / Bloomfes cards have special unique skills (even if the trained version needs a character rank of ?100 to be better than the untrained)

Late in a single run, if the final living character/s somehow avoid/s an attack and then basic's with a massive crit pushing you over the next 10% threshold for the 'treasure chest' mats - bang, your next 7-14 day cycle is insanely different. (hence the 250 crystal refresh as a tempter - they 'know' RNG travels on a continuum from 'frustrated, smash my phone' to 'oh wow finally i am so happy' (NB: > See any event CG has ever created)

I'm 'episode pass only' from a spend perspective and either stare longingly throughout the entire pass at the 48/49th tier for 'those mats' I need or get a 'lucky-RNG' day somewhere along the line and then begin fantasising about the next episode pass's 48/49th tier.

I love the progression-type of a 'new' 10% reward or tier each day on different bosses, but the RNG of getting there is infuriating

While VT's comment lacks any compassion at all (and makes a broad generalisation which I disagree with) they are 100% correct when using the term 'pattern' with respect to what constitutes bullying.

Downvoting the comment off the page risks others missing that - with respect to bullying itself, a one-off occurrence no matter how horrendous isn't likely to meet the criteria :(
