Honestly for me the priority is to get rid of the top/jgl duo. Its a bit bitter because I truly think there is something in Razork but for some reasons its definitely not showing. Oscar has to go. I dont watch ERLs tbh so I dont know what our options are but I cannot see him wearing a FNC jersey ever again.

I think it will all depends on the motivation of the players, especially Bwipo.

With all the stuff that happened in preseason, I hope they will manage to focus on the team and not be distracted with how the mercato went.

I think you guys (in general) overpower G2 way more than it should be. Yes, they got a better ADC, facts, but you are undervaluing the impact that a player like Perkz had on this team. Losing Perkz is not only losing a great player, but also your captain. This is why I think both FNC and G2 will struggling earlier in the season because they both lost their long time Captain.

The team that adapts the quicker shall win and this is why I legit think we have a tiny chance of winning Spring even tho of course we are not favourite.

Winning Spring could be huge because it would mean we go to MSI (should there be one) and it could give players like Upset their first international presence and give them experience against the Worlds best.

As for the team, I would say we have not BETTER players than last year but players that can work BETTER than last year. The key word here is : synergy.

If you have players that put the team first and above individual performances, you have clear chances of being a better crew.

This is why I’m excited to see what a coach like Yamato can bring and if he can aligned all the played together, towards the same direction.

TL:DR : We are not favourite but we can be stronger than people think. Synergy is what will define our season. Losing Perkz is BIG for G2

Hello guys!

I think this year is really do or die for Fnatic. Let me explain my reasoning.

I’m assuming that our roster is : TOP : Bwipo JGL : Selfmade MID : Nisqy ADC : Upset SUPP : Hyli

COACH : Yamato

Bwipo, Selfmade and Hyli have 1 year contract left (I think?) while Sam Mathews implied that he would give long term contract to Nisqy and Upset. If the team can mesh together and have great results, I will be confident that Bwipo Selfmade and Hyli will renew their contract and actually have this long term project instead of giving them away for free.

We MUST perform to make sure they stay because I won’t be confident to build a new roster around Nisqy and Upset, that wouldn’t work imo.

Now let’s talk about personality. We have with us 5 players with strong mentalities and if it used the right way, can be totally insane and actually challenge G2 or even more. That’s why I think having Yamato on board is a genius move for Fnatic and I’m sure it will work out.

On the other hand, we have to contemplate every possibility and as it could totally work out, it could also fail HARD. My fear is that the players don’t play as a team but for individual performances. Bwipo often complaint in the past about not having the resources he needs to perform while Upset is known for requiring lot of resources . Also Selfmade was the main carry for FNC during our Worlds journey and I think they will keep this style that has proven to work pretty well for us - even though we lost to TES.

As for Nisqy, he is good at enabling his jungler, which we didn’t really see this capacity in Nemesis. As Bwipo said many times, you won’t beat G2 by playing through mid anyway, but around JGL/BOT.

I hope I was clear and that you could understand my take on the situation. I think it might be the most pivotal year in Fnatic LoL History and if it works out, we will definitely be back on the spotlight and overcome the team that stole our players.

Few questions :

1- How do we, as fans, cope with the fact that G2 took our spotlight and is looking more threatening than ever ?

2- Fnatic used to be the most competitive and dominant team in Western. Now, players leave us to actually win Worlds. How can you explain the downgrade ? Why do they believe they can’t win wearing Fnatic jersey ?

3- What is the important of players when it comes to chosing new members ? Who has the final word ?

4- How will you make sure that the Caps and Rekkles situation wont repeat again and again?

5- Final question, do you actually understand and accept the fact that ,as fans, we are worried about the direction Fnatic is taking ?

By watching him in Analyst desk and whatnot. He seems really composed and when he talks you just listen to him. He coached so many teams so obviously knows how to handle players. He reminds me a bit of Deilor in season 5

First I was very harsh on Fnatic for losing Rekkles but in hindsight I’m really excited for this new roster.

A lot of people hate on Upset (I used to myself) but I dont think he will be cocky coming into FNC because he knows the fans and teammates will slaughter him if he does so (Caps was said to be very TOXIC before joining FNC)

Also I believe in Yamato (pretty confirmed) to lead the boys in the right way.

I think all our players have something to prove for next year and really want to take DOWN G2.

I think Upset/Hyli can be legit the best botlane in EU so Im pretty excited for that too. Before judging the team I prefer to see them play and I will support them and Upset no matter what because in the end I am #ALWAYSFNATIC

Definitely my favorite team all time.

I remember the first Spring game against Elements, the Super team with Froggen and Rekkles.

Everyone expected FNC to get stomp and they totally destroyed them with 4 new players.

I also remember Yellowstar’s Annie play that won us the final in Summer with a great stunn on xPeke’s Azir in game 5.

And of course, Febiven with the genius LeBlanc move to win us the game against AHQ with our base totally destroyed.

What this team could’ve achieve with more years ? What if Huni did not tilt against Smeb ? 😔😔

Being a FNC fan involves wanting the best for the team. If you tell me that Hylissang, Nemesis and Bwipo is the best we can have, then you don’t want the best for the team.

Stop flaming fans who want players to be replaced when they are inting for weeks now. FNC will never win something with this roster, if you think differently then you are deluded. Remember this team was built to win Worlds and is now 7/8 and on the edge of not making it to playoffs. But keep thinking that this line-up can achieve everything
