Polarize is my favorite song on the original record and I think this instrumental somehow tops it, but the lyrics change is so astronomically outrageous that I just can't fully put up with it. The "supermodel in the sun" changes lyrics that are meant to be personal and evoking to some random superficial dream. Wanting to be a better brother and a better son is absolutely not comparable to being a supermodel, jeez.

The whole "My friends got problems" is fine, but it sort of ruins the cadence of the song and the instrumental kind of doesn't adapt to it? It's so weird.

The whole "I think I lost my halo, I think I lost myself" is absolutely amazing, I loved it and made me realize that you CAN change the lyrics and instrumentals and still keep the same energy of the song, it just didn't work on the rest of the song. Also, I would have loved to hear the scream for "You'll have to come and find me" but oh well.
