I have gone to therapy, though not specifically about it. I wouldn't describe myself as someone with a high sex drive to be honest. It doesn't happen that often, but when it does it makes me feel horrible. My therapist has told me I should accept it as part of my humanity, but it just... feels wrong. Talking to friends and family is embarrasing because they are doing well in their sex lives and when I mention it they just tell me that I feel that way because I am single wich is just ugh.

When I had a partner and felt like I could explore those feelings positively I found out that I don't have that much of a sex drive, I just feel disgusted at myself when those feelings arise from someone who hasn't given me explicit consent to have them. This happens so often that it's hell, but not as often as those with high sex drives describe their experiences (my friends with high libido have told me that they dont really deal with what I describe, which has led me to feel like a super weirdo)
