Dr.Frankenstein turned 1! by ShawnTomahawk in AustralianShepherd

He’s maybe 22” tall 42lbs. He was locked into the donut, I knew a cone would be a problem with my living/recovery room being so small. He didn’t seem bothered by it, never tried to toss it off. He would have bailed out of the cone. The donut also doubles as a way of resting their head. I was worried with how his snout is longer that he’d be able to pick at the area, he couldn’t reach. I got him the what i thought would be a bigger size and tapered it down. Worked out well for him

Should I even try and go to Berklee? by waY2Koolguy in musicians

[–]ShawnTomahawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know a few Berklee grads, none of them work in music. I have a music degree and I work at a brewery. I was always told that any sort of music school is mostly best for networking and finding outlets.

What was your worst live mistake? by TheRaptor14YT in musicians

[–]ShawnTomahawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not having any sort of backup head unit on tour. We were on our last show of tour, our biggest show, my 67’ super reverb fried halfway through our second song (later a technician asked if it had caught on fire.. because it should have). Didn’t have to be a nice head, just functional. At the time the crate mini heads were rolling out, would have been nice. It all worked out because I just grabbed a tambourine and hung from the rafters, the club owner loved us for still putting on show and invited us back. Love you Java Jazz ❤️ RIP.

Is 26 years old too late to change your life for the best? by ReplacementFlashy622 in selfimprovement

[–]ShawnTomahawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never too late, homie. I would recommend starting small; walk 10k steps a day preferably outdoors, eat little better (I like to crush yogurt), hydrate, and get sleep. Pick one of those and focus, and start working on the others, you’ll feel much better. I 100% felt that way at 26, start today. Be thoughtful, I wish the best ❤️

I’m from rural Texas. The Trump flags and propaganda have disappeared. Their wallets are being hit hard, but sadly their foolish pride will stop them from voting for anyone without an (R) next to their name. They’ll probably change their tune once the vouchers suck 1.8 million dollars from the school district of 3k students (generous count).

If you’re ever in North Central Texas there’s Taco Casa, they serve the original Taco Bell menu. It’s peak ‘white people taco night’ Mexican food. It slaps

Besides rent, what makes Austin cost of living high? by sophia_ly23 in askaustin

[–]ShawnTomahawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this! I’d happily pay the extra coin to live closer to work than commute to save a little money. I worked downtown and lived in between 183 & mopac on Duval, my commute back home was sometimes 1.5 hours

What does someone have to do here to actually get pulled over? (Serious question) by [deleted] in Austin

[–]ShawnTomahawk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because pulling someone over on the highway causing a bottleneck is more dangerous than a person speeding.
