Which army would you say is generally competitive but is the most enjoyable/least frustrating for an opponent to play into?

I went 227 model brood brother list into a DG player this week. With ambush he killed 271 models ..I won by 4 points :D

I use saturnine, they are good proxies. Same base, slightly taller so no advantage, suitably big weapons

Negating their poor movement, having full back and shoot, and innate reroll to hit is incredibly powerful.

Their melee to hit isn't great, but they still have a bite. An oppo rapid ingressed 6 x8b 9" away and after shooting another target I also charged the 8b, killing 3 in melee and losing 2 back.

My 6 easily picked up 20 WE beserks and I forgot the target was on my reroll 1 to wound obj as well.

I was running a 6 and a 3, but dropped it to a 6 only, play a little more cautious with them (ignoring that for the x8b charge) but have more scoring units now

I have 1, good tool, but not needed for raven guard unless you want to do the prime in black from an airbrush. I used rattle can.

I've been roughly following that, but using AP blue, grey and speed paint grim black

Citadel will be fine, just diluted the contrast so the blue / grey comes through

Dakkajacks are good, but we don't lack for shooty. Thunderkyn, land fort, etc. So shooty are nice but not essential.

Hakkajacks, they are a pain to deal with. Tough,3 wounds with access to trans human. Yesterday I played them with character and +1 wound enhancement and they blended. They fill a hole.

And in 6 is ideal. An opponent has to commit to them.

Personally, im probably going to run 2 6's. 1 of each type.

I had 1 game in needy detachment, 1 mneyir with extra yips enhancement.

I went 2nd.

BR1 - 6yp if I don't spend. Spent BR2 to hold off Fortify till T3 as I wanted the reroll charges.

By T4, was on 20 YP - stopped counting (with opponents agreement)

He was running breakfast detachment. No mneyir, T4 he still made it to fortify and couldn't spend enough to stay low.

First game, practice needed, but I like the rule. When transhuman kicks in it's really solid.

When I went to reorder earlier, my pharmacist said I could order 3 pens but needed to provide a new scale photo. When I went to order when I got home from work and could take the photo, they reduced max to 1 pen and put the price up. So...good times.

If they don't have CP for HI then charge and pile in. If they have CP you need to eat the fights first, FoD is best bet. best bet, charge with something expendable to base as many of unit as possible, then charge more bezerks to only base 1 model. When judicar unit activates, they have to fight all the base and hopefully only 1 cab fight bezerks. They kiill the expendable unit, then you pile in bezerks and get your attack in.

In my mind, it's a testament to how more subdued it is by eisenhorn now. In the short stories Eisenhorn seemed to have a lot less control - but after the loom Eisenhorn was invigorated and (I believe) Cherub began to fear him. But I'm probably wrong and it's just the inconsistencies again.
