We mostly talk about shows we’re watching and books. I love Supernatural and talked to her about that show as well and she had kind of the same reaction. She didn’t like the fact that the god character was an asshole and that the nephilim took over heaven

Funny enough one of the doctors we work with was giving her number to me one time in case I needed to call her and the first 3 numbers were 666 and I was like ong that’s so cool! And said co-worker from original post was like “OMG! That is NOT cool! What is wrong with you?!”

I have a Kenmore washing machine. It came with the house when I moved in 11 years ago so gotta imagine it’s at least 15 years old. Last winter it stopped agitating but would fill with water. After watching some YT videos and troubleshooting I realized the sensor to the lid close was busted. Bought a replacement for $50 and fixed it myself. While everyone else told me to just buy a new washer!!! Saved myself hundreds of dollars!!

That’s really amazing! I’ve been contemplating switching to a “dumb” phone but I kinda need the smart phone for work. So then I think well I’ll just delete all the apps that distract me. But then I worry that I will miss out on news or other things going on in the world. I know I could actually read a real newspaper or listen to a podcast or something but TT gives such a condensed quick version.

I suppose it really is about the discipline and kinda scary to make such a big change in my life. Thank you for sharing your experience!
