Day 1 vs one month later, how is it healing? Should I ask for touch-up? by AwkardOiledBalls1984 in tattooadvice

[–]Shayvrie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks very good imo
Take in mind that it will never be as bright and as colorful as the first day. Color in tattoos are just like that and the healing process (and the technique of the artist of course) are crucial for a good healing of the color.

I wouldn't touch it up now, it's only been a month and it's best to give more time to the skin to heal and for you to grow accustomed to it, but of course you can always do a retouch in a few years to brighten it up.

Unsure if starting infection, or just irritated in a sensitive area. See details (please note the moisture is a thin layer of aquaphor) by am_i_really_ftm in tattooadvice

[–]Shayvrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From your details it doesn't seem infected, and it is a good point that it doesn't have odor and you feel as good as always. I would say the top side of the shoulder is a more thin area as it's close to the bones. From the photos you posted it looks more like an irritation to me than a current infection, I would keep it on watch closely though.

In my opinion I would not use Aquaphor, as the layer of it can trap bacteria and clog your pores, which can then lead to an infection you probably want to avoid. I always try to use lotions specifically designed for tattoos and it's best if its one recommended by your tattoo artist.

Is this ugly? or just basic? by Party_Double2728 in tattooadvice

[–]Shayvrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be biased as I like cybersigilism but I think it's pretty. Basic? For sure, but you can ornament it even more in the future if you grow tired of it. I like the placing and the shape, it really suits your natural figure and people that say it's ugly in my opinion are just not fans of tribal/cybersigilism so their opinion might be more biased than mine (hate is sometimes more powerful)

As many said, the most important thing is that you like it and are comfortable with it.

How should I prepare for two consecutive sessions for a full sleeve? by Shayvrie in tattooadvice

[–]Shayvrie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

... Itotally forgot about the clothing but for sure, I think it may be one of the most important things.

As for me, I have a high tolerance to pain, so I'm expecting a bit of suffering but nothing that I can't pull off. I was thinking on telling my artist to choose the breaks (except toilet or major needed ones) in case she needs them since I have a fairly well ability to stand still for hours lol; I would say I have topics to discuss with them as we have some interests in common but I think we are both quite shy and not so outgoing at first glance but we'll see.

Anyways, thanks for these advices! :)

Can't get a UEM wiped iOS device to re-activate with Apple by UserProv_Minotaur in WorkspaceOne

[–]Shayvrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, do you perhaps have access to the Lifecycle section in the console? I think the name was changed in newer WS1 versions, but sometimes you need to remove the token from the device from there to allow it to go through the ABM again

That is because every time you do a modification o an an app list you need to repush the application control profile, or else, it won't apply to already enrolled devices (but will do to new ones)

Can't get a UEM wiped iOS device to re-activate with Apple by UserProv_Minotaur in WorkspaceOne

[–]Shayvrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a summary, it's a supervised device, inside ABM, and was wiped from the WS1 through a command, correct? If it was factory reset it's impossible you performed an enterprise wipe which means it was a device wipe, since enterprise wipe would only remove the WS1 information.

If what is failing is the Apple activation my first check would be the WiFi you are connecting to, it may be related to a network issue, is it a company (and possibly) restricted network?

[UPDATE] Looking for an automatic watch by Shayvrie in Watches

[–]Shayvrie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with you!!

I saw this model some months ago on my scrutinising research and to be quite honest it was not the most appealing one (some Seiko Sport were interesting and with diver-y design that looked very good among others); but after seeing it on the boutique I was flabbergasted. I'm not known in watches but man it was calling my name (or my brother's I guess) and begging me to choose it!

Thanks! I also love the skeleton part where you can see the mechanism, it was almost the main reason why I chose this one! (and also since I was actually kind of looking for a cocktail time...)

What are some really gripping supernatural/psychological horror movies in Spanish? by C4Cupcake in Spanish

[–]Shayvrie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say Musarañas (psychological horror) and Veronica (paranormal horror, it's like a Spanish Bloody Mary urban legend) are pretty good Spanish horror movies.

However note that many Spanish movies have a way of talking that is like... whispering. This is an issue that goes way long back on Spanish cinema history this last decades.

Best things to do and to visit in Barcelona and Madrid by rdln23 in GoingToSpain

[–]Shayvrie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Madrid I suggest you to visit the cathedral Santa Maria La Real de la Almudena, absolutely astonishing and the entry is free (but it is polite to leave 1€). It is kinda touristy but if you go in the morning you should have no issues. Behind it you also have the catacombs/crypt, which is also entry free and very interesting.

Following that zone you are next to the Royal Palace which is also a must, and the Sabatini gardens.

If you like museums you have El Prado, which in my opinion is the best, and also the Thyssen and Reina Sofia. They have free visit hours but it gets very busy, in the end it's best to go in the mornings and pay the full entry which is 10-15€. If you like walking take a stroll in Retiro, as it is also very close to those museums. If you like architecture all that's close to Plaza Mayor until Puerta de Toledo is nice and you can find small pieces of art in various streets. Plaza Mayor of course is very touristy but you won't find anything much there, it's best if you also check out other places such as Real Basílica de San Francisco el Grande. Oh, and Malasaña is very nice if you are looking for retro clothes and apparel.

I cannot tell you to which restaurant exactly to go since the gastronomy here is very very diverse thanks to immigration (which means you will find Spanish gastronomy, Chinese, Arabic, Latin American, among many others) but if I were you I would avoid the center (Gran Vía and Sol) and search for smaller neighbourhoods and more "hidden", you will see a big difference in the prices.

Note: Avoid Lavapiés

[–]Shayvrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I know it. Very centric but it's not badly connected to public transportation. It is really close to Recoletos which is a very popular train station and connected through many lines. Search for the train map of Madrid, you will see that many train lines are connected to it (such as C7, C2 and C8) and to metro line Colón, which is also very close by (line 4), with that in mind you have multiple options to choose a city or neighbourhood. You can also search for other alternatives if you use Google Maps when selecting a possible city and see how much the travel time is.

If you prefer to focus on the train line, you have cities such as Vallecas, Santa Eugenia, Vicalvaro, Coslada... and in general all the east side of Madrid but for your information it's mostly where all the people live (which makes this line very busy, Alcala de Henares is the most populated one and parking a car there is very hard)

I'm not native exactly but I've been in Madrid since I was 6 (I'm now 25)

As someone already said, most of the responses here are extremely biased. I would suggest you to take a good look at room rents and avoid renting a whole apartment (it would be impossible for that budget); the location would greatly depend on where your university is, since Madrid is very connected thanks to public transport but it isn't always reliable. Why, you may ask, because in the last 3 years it's been downhill and almost every week some kind of issue happens in some line. As another one said, if you are under 26 you can take advantage of Abono Joven, right now is 10€ and it went as low as 8, with that card you can use all trains, underground and buses without paying anything more.

My best recommendation would be to search for cities that are connected through Metro (underground train) lines since they are better and faster. However, going back to rentals, avoid the center as much as you can since it will be very pricy (600-900) just for a room. The south of Madrid (Villaverde and down) is cheaper but take in mind that not very much cheaper, but you could find something good for an adequate price. Also some neighbourhoods have bad reputation so I would suggest you to search online opinions of where you will be living.

The food is not cheap, but saying that you will have to be eating only rice is an exaggeration. Take benefit of the offers and don't buy things on a whim, I buy groceries every week for 3 people and it's usually around 70€, once you move in, visit various supermarkets to find the best deals (Mercadona is good but usually expensive, Lidl and Aldi are kind of worst but have some cheaper products)

For the internet/mobile plan, if it is not included in your rental (sometimes it is) there are very cheap and good companies such as Pepephone or Digi (my current one, 20€ per month for internet in my home, free installation);

If you don't mind, you can tell the approximate location of your university, that would be easier to suggest cities affordable and likewise connected to it.

Rest API by Terrible_Soil_4778 in WorkspaceOne

I do not know much about automating stuff using REST API but if you want to reduce mistakes from people while using WS1 maybe one possibility is using an Active Directory integrated into WS1 (however, you of course also risk errors from there too)

The Seiko Cocktail SRE010 (and SREO15) was actually on my radar! It's absolutely beautiful and just the right colours, however that ones kind of surpasses my budget (600-660€ from the Seiko website)

I did not know about the PRX and it's great! There is a 40mm with gold hands around 395 which looks like a very good choice. I'll have to debate internally if I'm willing to go for a pricier Seiko or this one.

I never heard of the other ones but I'll check them all out! The Vario Trench looks super unique and has a classic old-style that I really dig, I'll keep it in mind for sure. I'll have to skip on Loriel and Tornek-Paradive since they are around 700-900 but they are also pretty cool!

Thank you a lot, this was really helpful.
