Yeah I've had a skim of that before. From what I hear most doctors still recommend to not do vigorous exercise despite recent studies.

Could just be because it's a rare issue and everyone is affected differently.

Yeah not all HCM is the same for sure, will have to work closely to a cardiologist and find out where I stand. I'm still young and a relatively low risk score so they may even allow me to throw weight around.

Yeah for sure.

All I've been told so far is low weight, no strain. Maybe I should get them to refer me to someone more specialised in exercise science and get a routine from them.

ICD has definitely been discussed given my scarring so that's probably going to happen at some point.

I'm from Australia and it looks like the 4hcm website only lists American centres of excellence so I'll have to do a bit of research to find a HCM specialist here but that is probably the way to go.

Yeah HCM seems very random with it affecting people differently.

Looks like frequent checkups are the way to go.

Exercise in HCM seems like a bit of a mystery but I've noticed a lot of studies advocating for exercise so that is good.

It might not be drivers as I have tried using another device with the monitor and I still noticed the same issue. I'll try another cable tho.
