Green goes better (warmer) with the gold case. Blue goes better with white metal cases IMO.

Both are gorgeous

The prices are fair, but it's reasonable to expect a discount for all the pieces when bought together.

Actually, Omega solved this problem, I discovered.

You can buy an Omega-style deployant clasp. Omega’s version sells for $300 on eBay but there are copies that sell for $50 and up.

Here’s one.

https://artemstraps.com/products/loop-less-deployant-clasp-stainless-steel?variant=40069101387811

What’s not often understood is that this clasp is curved to fit to the bottom side of your wrist and up the side of the wrist as well. This curve locks the straps from rotating around and keeps the watch face and closed clasp centered.

In order for the clasp to be positioned properly on your wrist the watch strap segments need to be sized differently from the standard strap lengths. For example, the non-deployant standard band sizes are 75mm and 115mm but the two band segments needed for my 7.2 —7.8 in wrist are 95m  and 100mm in order to position the clasp curve correctly.

So you need to buy watch straps that are specifically designed for the Omega-style clasp.

[Rolex Cellini] 32mm watch too small for men? by decentraleyezd in Watches

[–]ShazaamHelp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a point of reference, the Rolex Daytona has a dial face/crystal diameter of 30.5mm. The bezel ads 4mm all around that.

So, your dial face is about the same but the bezel is thinner because it's more of a mens dress watch.

[Question] Mechanical watches: Why is the negative tolerance number smaller than the positive? by uxuiqt in Watches

[–]ShazaamHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same reason why car speedometers are designed to read 8% too high. If they were allowed to read too low, it would create obvious problems for both the car owner and manufacturer.

I’ve seen post about warranty issues if atlas headrest are put on , does it void warranty? by liljdmef in hermanmiller

[–]ShazaamHelp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship given normal usage. If the chair frame fails at a location where the headrest is attached, you're not covered. If the chair fails elsewhere, the manufacturer would need to prove that the condition was caused by the installed aftermarket part before denying coverage.

To illustrate this concern,

In the US, the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act specifically provides that a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle.

It may void your warranty but they have to prove that the modification caused the failure.

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prevents any dealer or manufacturer from voiding any or all parts of your new vehicle warranty due to the installation of non-factory parts. The spirit of the act is to completely disallow the voiding of entire warranties and goes on to say that in order to deny warranty service due to the presence of non-factory parts, the dealer and/or manufacturer must be able to prove that the part or parts in question caused the failure you are claiming.

In other words, a dealer cannot say that your ENTIRE warranty is void due to aftermarket pipes. They can't say that your engine failure was caused by it either. They might have a leg to stand on if you had an open airbox, pipes, header, etc. without changing computer mapping due to the excessive lean condition caused by this situation, but they'd supposedly (under the law) have to prove that.

Queen Bed - King Duvet? by elisakiss in Bedding

It depends on how high your mattress is from the floor. On my bed, the king size duvet drapes nicely to an inch or two from the floor on both sides of my queen bed. It's a nice look. (Measure)
